"This is what happens to traitors! So, the mighty Celes has fallen!!"
"How can you serve these cowards?" I thought out loud. I can't believe this, they got me chained up. Kefka and his stupid plans to poison Doma. Pfft..Why did I have to rat him out to Figaro? I should have just kept my mouth shut, or this wouldn't have happened.
"Hold your tounge!" The guard said, kicking me again. Now I was annoyed.. "Isn't it true that Kefka's going to poison the people of Doma, to the east?" I don't know why I kept resisting..I was just soo angry. "Shuddap!" The guard yelled, kicking me in my stomach. I guess my body couldn't take it anymore, and I fell. I felt like my wrists were going to break! I am a General. I shouldn't be treated like this!
"I'd hate to be in your shoes tommorrow!" The guard was laughing, saying to his comrad, "keep a close eye on her.." and he replied, "I can go for days without sleep!" Hahahaha, last time he said that he fell asleep immidiatly.
Wait a second....someone is there...
I pulled myself up, my wrists still hurting from dangling to my sides. I looked towards the outside of the jail cell. I saw..a shadow. What could it be?
The shadow came closer to me. What if this person came to kill me? Hmm..we'll just have to see. The guard had already fallen asleep..
The shadow kneeled down infront of me, and I could see him more clearly. He wore a bandana around his head full of blondish hair. He had a blue jacket, with huge silver buttons. His pants looked kind of leathery, but I doubt they really were. Obviously he was picking the lock. Ha, smart move..now I can get out of here.
When he was finished, I rubbed my wrists. He let out a hand, and helped me pull myself up. "And...you are?"
He made a fist and struck a pose. "I'm with the Returners, Name's Locke."
I gasped. "Returners!? I used to be General Celes. Now...I'm just a common traitor..." I explained. I didn't want to tell him what I did, or else..ya know...he wouldn't help me.
He got out of his pose and smiled at me, I could tell he was looking me over. "Let's go!" He said. I was shocked. Why did he want to interfere with a traitor? "You'd take me along? Thanks but...no thanks..I can barely walk.." I tried to make up something, so he wouldn't get in trouble for me being with him. Well..it would be good to get out of there, so I scratched that idea. "i'm grateful, but....Even if you got me out..You'd never be able to protect me. No, I think I'm better off here." I sat down, trying to read his expression. "I'll protect you! Trust me, you'll be fine!" He said, smiling and winking at me. What a goofball. "Let's go!" he said once more, and this time, I stood up. Now where did that guard put that key?
"Wait..this soldier has something important on him.." I said, swiping the key from the guard's pocket. There it is! Wait...what am I doing? "Why are you helping me?" I wondered out loud. He scratched his head and sighed, looking to the ground. He looked like it was painful for him to say why..I wish I wouldn't of asked. "You...remind me of someone..But..what's it matter anyway?" He got a definate look on his face. It looked sort of like he didnt have an explaination. Humph, I know how that feels. "I just want to, okay?"
Sounds good to me..
