Ichigo stepped off the Blanetri, otherwise known as an alien spaceship, and into the cool grass of the aliens world. The sky was a rich blue, ocassionally a white band would move across it. She'd come to this world under a truce. The agreement was that Ichigo would come to their world to help them perfect their home, in echange for not attacking the earth.
Ichigo didn't know how she could help, but aparently she didn't actually need to do anything but sit in a chamber for a bit while the alien scientists... well, now they were natives and she was the alien... strange. People all around her were pointing at her and babbling in a language that she couldn't understand. She was somewhat surprized that they didn't speak japanese at first, then felt incredibly stupid.
She turned to see a... "What is your speicies called?" Ichigo asked. "We are called Cyniclons" the scientist answered simply "follow me"
He walked past her and Ichigo did as she was told. They were walking for about an hour before a building came into veiw. It was small, a box with tiny windows really. The scientist entered and it became apparent to Ichigo how genius the idea was. Most of the labrynth like complex was underground. The bit that was above ground was difficult to find. Ichigo had been told on the way here that this was were the most top secret technology was developed.
The scientist lead her down a staircase and into a maze of hallways. Ichigo's head was spinning from confusion. What felt like ages later, they entered a large room. More cyniclon scientists were inside, and in the very center was a large clear indigo egg. Ichigo could have easily fit inside it with room to spare.
"what is that thing?" Ichigo asked
"We call it a Stemlys Pod" the scientist replied
"...what does it do?"
"The subject is put inside, sterilized, unconsious, and any thing that would normally be excrusiating is unoticable"
"Why's it here?"
"Well we will be extracting a very specific and rare peice of your DNA. It's said that man originated from earth itself. It can be found buried in your DNA, it has a very long scientific name, but for short it's called Living Earth. It would be very painful to get at this DNA but once you're in the Stemlys Pod you won't even notice"
"What do you mean by 'man originated from the earth itself'?"
"You ask a lot of questions, don't you? Well in our mythology when the earth was made the Cyniclons and Humans were twin brothers, sculpted out of clay and mud with holy breath of the creator breathed into it. We have found evidence of this in our own DNA but as we have been away from the earth for ten thousand years it has become diluted. Humans have never left the homeworld, so in theory their living earth gene should be more intact"
"Why do you need this 'Living Earth Gene'? Couldn't you just get it from normal old dirt?"
"It's too complicated to explain. The entire point of Living Earth is that it's alive. Normal dirt isn't alive, and the gene isn't found in animals"
"Oh..." Ichigo was still confused but she had no other questions to ask other than "Well, what do I do?"
The scientist walked her over to the Stemlys Pod "just get inside"
"uhhh..." Ichigo looked at the Stemlys Pod. It was perfectly smooth with no signs of an opening. She put her hand out to touch it and to her surprize it went right through "Oh!" she said her shock evident in her voice.
Ichigo walked into the pod and immediately a sort of cool ooze began to pour down from the top of the egg like structure. Ichigo gasped and tried to keep her head above the ooze. As it covered the top of her head, Ichigo lost consiousness.
Oh my god you have no idea how long that took to write Q_Q
