House Call

Grissom looked down at his ringing phone to see Sara's name appear across the screen. He laid back on the couch and flipped the phone open. "Hi."

"Well you sound better. I told you moms chicken soup can cure all."

Grissom let out a small laugh. "Yes... that you did. I am sure that my pneumonia is all gone because of the soup and maybe a little help from the antibiotics. Please give your mother my thanks for passing along the recipe."

"I'm not with her right now but I will be sure to tell her the next time I see her. You know the last few times I got really sick I actually miss that soup. Even thought about making it."

"Wait... Miss vegetarian thought about eating chicken?"

"Well... I made the soup without the chicken and it just wasn't the same. I can't believe I just admitted that to you."

"Are you telling me that there is still hope in turning you back into a carnivore?"

"No, not happening. That night with the pig and that poor pigs image is forever stuck in my brain."

"That night wasn't all bad."

"No, it wasn't... how's the case?"

"Solved."

"Hmm... case solved, pneumonia gone. So now what?"

"Conrad feels bad about making me work when I was sick. He is offering me a few days off."

"Do you plan to take the nad up on his offer?"

"Probably not. Not much to do here around the house and not enough time to come out and visit you."

"I guess I will have to come to you then."

As the front door swung open, Grissom sat up on the couch and was shocked to Sara standing there.

"You might want to hang that up." Sara nodded her head at the phone as she closed the door behind her. "We need to discuss your CSI skills." Tossing the keys onto the coffee table, she made her way over to the couch. "Do you know that you and Hank walked right by my car?" Straddling Grissom's legs, she lowered herself down onto his lap. "Your powers of observation are slipping, my dear."

Grissom tossed his phone on the table and wrapped his arms around her waist. "What are you doing here?"

"I felt horrible that you were sick and here all by yourself." Sara reached up and began playing with the collar on his shirt. "Figured I could drive out and play nurse for a few days. I planned on taking the job very serious." She looked up at him with an evil smile. "Even went out and got the proper attire but now that you are feeling better I can return it."

Grissom tightened his grip on her hips. "Don't you dare." Pushing her back onto the couch, he pinned her down with his body. Reaching for his phone, he flipped it open and hit a few buttons. "Conrad... its Grissom. I will be taking the next few days off and do not wished to be disturbed." Shutting the phone off and tossing it on the table, he turned his attention back to woman pinned beneath him. "Well nurse Sara... I am all yours for the next 36 hours."
