Fucked up

Insane

Tell me I'm stupid

Got nothing going on in my brain

Look at me with disgust

Disdain, hatred, resentment

All my spells go wrong...

What a fucking disappointment

"I can not believe this Wormwood! Merlin's Mushrooms this is too much!" An aggravated sorcerer paced around his quarters every second step falling with more and more force until he was stomping around his quarters.

The person mentioned, in this case a bird, tilted it's head and cawed in reply causing the Sorcerer to jump.

"Oh... Darn it Wormy! How many times do I have to tell you not to Kaw when I'm like this! I almost snapped my wand!" Grumpily he stormed over to his desk and threw his wand down. He watched as it rolled on the desk, then off the side, coming to a clattering standstill on the ground. "Oh Merlin! Can nothing go right?! Oh forget it! I don't even need that wand now!" With an exaggerated throwing up of his hands, he stormed off to pace again.

'Nothin! Absolutely nothing went right! The spells all went wrong, the potions all exploded, and even my lunch got burned! Oh how disappointed mummy must be! *Gasp!* Mummy! I hope she doesn't find out! I've let her down so much! I have not held up Goodwyn the Great's name! Oh daddy must be so mad at me!' In his mental degrading of himself, he wandered to his bed and plopped down, face first, into his pillows. 'They must both think I'm so stupid... How could this happen?' While lost in his thoughts, he didn't hear Wormwood alerting him to a visitor.

"Mr. Ceedric?" The cheerful voice came.

His head shot up. "Oh Pumpkins..." He ran to the door "Yes Princess?"

"Mr. Ceedric! I was hoping you'd be here! I saw you earlier... It wasn't too god a day was it? But I don't want you to give up! So I made you this!" She pulled a roled up parchment from her bag and handed it to him.

He stood there, dumbly staring at her, with the parchment in hand.

"Well open it! She giggled at him.

Cedric shook his head. "Oh yes sorry..." He unrolled the parchment and read it, tears brimming in his eyes.

"Thank you Princess... You have no idea how much I needed that."

The young girl watched as her idol, the person she looked up to for magic, the person that put his all into everything, fall to his knees and wrap her in a tight embrace.

In his hand was a crudely drawn certificate... A certificate for putting his best effort forward no matter what.

Wonderful

Amazing

She tells me I'm great

Even when I'm complaining

She looks at me with adoration

Care, acceptance, love

I never give up, and keep on going

She tells me I'm someone to be proud of
