Disclaimer: We don't own nothin'!
Once upon a time, Bilbo and Gandalf were sitting in Bilbo's sitting room, finally alone after all the dwarfs die via Smaug. They were sipping tea, an awkward silence among them.
After a while, Gandalf finally spoke: "You were very brave."
"Thank you," Bilbo replied. "You too."
Gandalf laughed. "I'm too old and ugly to be brave."
Bilbo scooted so close to Bilbo that their thighs were touching. "I don't think you're ugly. Or old." Bilbo added as an afterthought, although he kind of knew the old part was a lie. Gandalf snorted.
"Yeah right, Bilbo," He shook his head in amusement and Bilbo could just barely see his small smile under his gray, ugly beard.
"No, really," Bilbo insisted as he finally closed the gap between them and their lips met.
Author's Note: Yep this is a weird little one shot. We have barely even read the book, just skimmed it for school. So sorry if we got anything wrong, but hope you like it anyway!
