Kyoya sat in one of the many chairs in the music room. The last of the decorations had been put up in order for the Christmas celebration including the tall defining evergreen. Red, green, and silver garland hung from the rafters in precise patterns. Wreaths hung at strategical points adding another festive flair. The Host Club members were all gone except for him. Kyoya sighed, he had no plans for Christmas which bothered him. Kyoya grumbled and opened up his laptop. He began to type at the rows of identical keys. The screen flickered casting a light over the lenses of his glasses. His inbox was flooded with e-cards from Tamaki and Kyoya groaned. He was so into his 'work' that he didn't notice the figure approach him.

He looked up when the soft chink of china hit the table. Haruhi was placing a cup of hot tea down. "Thought you might like some. It's cold outside." Kyoya looked at the tea then picked the cup up.

"Thank you Haruhi." She smiled and sat down in the seat across from him.

"Why are you here so late? Don't you have plans?" Kyoya narrowed his eyes and took a sip of tea. He placed the cup down and moved the laptop aside.

"No I have no plans. What about you?"

"I noticed you were still here... and they forgot to put the topper on the tree." Haruhi's gaze was on the top of the decorated pine, it was barren lacking at the tip top. "Oh, they also forgot to put up the mistletoe." Now, as intelligent as Kyoya was he had never heard of mistletoe. His eyebrow rose.

"Mistletoe? What's that?" He took another sip of tea. Haruhi reached into her pocket and pulled out said object. "So, what do you do with it?"

"So, you've never heard of mistletoe Kyoya?" Haruhi smiled a amused look in her eyes.

"No." He watched her carefully as she stood up. She stopped in front of him and bent over. Haruhi waved the mistletoe over his head.

"Mistletoe." She kissed his lip then stood back up. The normally cool, collected Kyoya was flushed a hazy pink.

'Damn mistletoe.'

Haruhi laughed, "I thought that if people knew mistletoe was in the room we'd get more people to come, which would mean more funds for the club." A financial smile crept up Kyoya's lips. He nodded and stood.

"Haruhi?"

"Yes?"

"You said they forgot to put the topper on the tree?"

"Mhmm." Haruhi nodded and readjusted a scarf made of garland that was around her neck. She bustled off and came back with a delicate porcelain angel. The features were made with excellent percision and her rosy red cheeks matched her beautiful dress. The wings were a soft downy white that looked like a cloud. Together they strolled over to the tree and looked up to where the Christmas angel would go. Kyoya easily took it from Haruhi's hands being careful not drop it. He stood on tiptoe and placed the angel on the top branch where she could gaurd over them all. When he stood normal Haruhi wrapped the garland that was around her neck around his exposed neck and giggled. "Merry Christmas Kyoya."

"Merry Christmas Haruhi." Kyoya smiled and took the mistletoe from Haruhi's hand. He waved it over her head, then he leaned over and kissed her. She blinked stunned not expecting it, but when he pulled away she was smiling. "Mistletoe."
