"It was my fault..."

"How can I explain?"

"Stay away from me!"

"Let me make things right..."

"This is good-bye."

"We're finished."

Confessions. Screaming. Tears. Heart-break. She never wanted to experience anything like that again, the guilt and hurt almost completely encasing the female as the memories invaded her mind. Why she had left. Why she couldn't look at herself in the mirror anymore. Why she was so...alone.

Those conversations. The pain in her eyes. The desperation.
The accusations. The pleading. The truth.

It was too much to handle. Too many emotions trying to escape that were locked deep inside, where no one could find them.

Adele lifted her head as the medium-sized 'Welcome' sign came into her line of vision, the simple name of 'Forks' giving her the information she needed about her location. She momentarily recalled visiting the small town before, merely passing through as her family continued on to their true destination. She had only been four at the time, barely able to remember any specific details about the stop. She drove into town, scanning over each building she passed, hoping that lady luck would be on her side. Adele needed a place to crash, a new home that allowed her the chance for a fresh start.

She pulled into the designated structure and pocketed her keys, the roaring engine of her jeep coming to a halt. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and forced herself to relax. She didn't have a choice but to do this, having no where else to go. Adele exited the vehicle and walked into the real estate agency, all of her savings tucked away in her wallet that resided in her back pocket.

"I made a mistake..."

"Stop it!"

"It's not your choice!"

"You wanted to talk?"

"Don't you let her down, you hear me?"

"You're my enemy. Get it now?"
