A/N: Hello guys.. This is just a little something I felt inclined to write. This poem is inspired by two people from my life. Enjoy!
His Saviour
He raised the walls to shield himself from anymore grief and pain
But he failed to understand that feelings make us human.
The leaden chains of his past encase his heart and mind
Making him facile for the nightmares to find.
His walls and chains can be broken,
Only by an act of love and affection.
But his guard is so strong,
Demolishing it seems to be unimaginable
Like controlling a storm.
His dangerous inner demons have sought freedom
From the coldest and darkest prisons of his soul's kingdom.
They took him spiraling down a dark chasm,
And it seemed impossible to stop them.
But then.
Then, she came along.
She knew the heartache and struggle that
Dwelled within him.
And one lost look between the orbs of grey and brown
Held the demons from leading him further down.
She shattered his chains and destroyed his walls.
She forced him to feel again.
She taught him to live again.
She unknowingly battled his demons and lifted him out of the abyss.
She made him who he never thought he could be.
She made him more than just a forgotten hollow cast.
She freed his heart, so he could love at last.
A/N: Review please guys! And yes. The next chapter for "Not Even Death" should be up by next week. Thanks!
