AN~ This chapter is useless. It honestly is. It basically is just an intro
to this one character and is quite far from exiting. I do however hope you
enjoy it. I expect the later chapters to be A LOT more interesting. If I
get reviews then I'll post more. Thanx,

Guinevere glanced up at the winter sky. Thin wisps of clouds hung above her icy surroundings casting dreary shadows over the snow covered castle grounds. The trees appeared white, every branch draped in a delicate layer of fine white snow and the almost non-existing sunlight bounced gently off the tiny icicles that clung to the small hut at the edge of the forest. Somewhere in the behind her bells began to ring breaking the silence that had held for quite some time now. A few of the tiny icicles toppled from the roof of the small cottage in the distance and made a gentle chime as they his the snow and shattered. A brilliant red cardinal landed on one of the snow-covered trees, knocking over a bit of the powdery snow. She watched the thin flakes spiral downwards until they hit the ground below them, interrupting the perfect balance of smooth snow that had until then lain undisturbed. She sighed and turned reluctantly back towards the newly whitened castle. The gentle sound of clicking silverware drifted over the young elf's surroundings and warned her that others had awoken and would soon be coming outside as well. So continuing along the snowy path she paused only once more, at the top, for a last glance at the grounds below her. The now rising sun Covered the scene in a pale red glow and the sky faded from flaming red and orange to a pastel blue in an enchanting dream- like fashion. Turning on her heel she disappeared through a large maple door. And for but a moment the grounds laid silent, at the edge of the forest a small red Vixen slid in among the trees vanishing quickly from sight. The cardinal sat on its tree, apparently undisturbed by the cold of the wind. Somewhere far from sight a child's laughter drifted sweetly over the snow and a small bird sang for a moment before allowing silence to resume it's position.
