Disclaimer: I do not own Ouran or any characters. I also don't own the song 'Baby, it's Cold Outside' by Dean Martin.
Haruhi pulled away from Kyoya, "I really can't stay, I've got to go away."
"Come on, Haruhi, it's cold outside," he said as he grabbed her hand.
"This evening has been so very nice, but my father will begin to worry." Haruhi pulled her hand back and tried to grab her jacket.
Kyoya pulled her back into his arms, taking her hands in his. "Let me hold your hands, they're just like ice. I mean, really, what's your hurry?"
Haruhi rolled her eyes, "He's probably already pacing the floor, comparing you to Tamaki."
Kyoya pulled her back to the couch, "Don't worry about it, just listen to the fireplace roar."
Haruhi felt herself giving in, it really was cold out there, "Well…maybe I can stay a little longer."
Kyoya grinned, "Put some music on while I pour us some tea."
Haruhi sighed, "Kyoya, I can't stay that long, what will our friends think?"
Kyoya smiled, "Don't worry, it's bad out there, there's no cabs to be had, they'll understand."
"I ought to say no," Haruhi said sourly as she turned on some music.
Kyoya pulled her down onto his lap, "Your eyes are like starlight. Here, I'll take your hat," he pulled the hat off her head and tossed it across the room. "Your hair looks swell," he said as he smoothed it down.
Haruhi rolled her eyes as a blush crept up her cheeks, "At least I'm gonna say that I tried to leave."
Kyoya smirked a little as he leaned in and placed a kiss on her nose, "What's the sense of hurting my pride?"
Haruhi pulled herself off his lap, her cheeks stained with color. "I simply must go. The answer is no."
Kyoya pulled her back into his arms, "Darling, it's cold outside, I'm lucky that you dropped in." He leaned in and gave her warm, spark inducing kiss.
Haruhi blushed and jerked away from him, "This welcome has been so nice and warm, but I really must go."
Kyoya gestured at the window, "Look out the window at that storm, you won't find a ride."
"Kyoya, Tamaki will be suspicious, my father will be there at the door, and Hikaru's mind is viscous."
"Man, your lips look delicious," Kyoya silenced her protests with a kiss.
When the kiss ended Haruhi was panting slightly, "Kyoya, I've got to go home."
"Haruhi, you'll freeze out there, your coat isn't warm enough."
"Well, then lend me your coat," Haruhi pointed out as she went to collect her hat.
"It's up to your knees out there, even with my coat you wouldn't get far." Kyoya pointed out as he adjusted his glasses.
"Look, you've really been grand. But if I stay, there's bound to be talk tomorrow, at least there will be plenty implied." Haruhi pointed out as pulled her hat back on her head and headed for the door.
Kyoya caught her hand again, "I feel a thrill when I touch your hand you know. Now, don't leave me. Think of my lifelong sorrow if you caught pneumonia and died?"
"You aren't going to let me leave, are you?" Haruhi said.
"No," Kyoya said simply as he pulled her back into his arms.
"Okay, then what are we going to tell the others?" Haruhi asked before giving into his kiss.
"That we're in love," Kyoya said simply when they stopped for breath.
"Alright," Haruhi replied as she semi-reluctantly followed him back to the couch in front of the roaring fire.
Author's Note: MERRY CHRISTMAS! Here's my little Christmas gift to anyone on fanfic on Saturday. :) The reason the lyrics aren't in italics is because that would be really hard since I adapted most of the dialogue to fit the characters and time period better. I mean, the original lyrics talk about drinks and cigarettes and stuff. I hope you enjoy and have a safe and happy holiday!
Enjoy! Read! Review!
