Okay so if you're reading this my guess is you are either in the havenswood RPG or you've somehow ended up here. Anyways you can check out the group on insta @havenswoodrpg and this is basically the background/common going ons with the character I portray. Other characters from the group are mentioned, if you're not okay with your character appearing please just say.
Chapter one is why she leaves to go to Mexico so often, this is the first time she leaves. Enjoy?!
It was raining outside, the flash of lightening momentarily lighting up the apartment along with the angry sound of thunder rumbling in the heavens. This promoted the young woman sat at the paper scattered kitchen counter to look away from the her latest course work that was in the process of giving her a headache and tip toe over to her spare room that was currently occupied. Gently pushing open the door, the brunette looked inside her dark brown eyes settling in the little girl curled up in a deep sleep under the leaf patterned covers, thankfully the thunder and lightning hadn't awakened Meredith. The poor red-head hadn't been asleep long as Sumitra had the misfortune of having to work nights and had had to hire a babysitter, who once Meredith had shown her unique magical abilities too; bended to the little girls every whim. She shook her head, her black hair that when straightened went down to her her hips, mimicking her movements, maybe she should ask chandler to help in some way so that she didn't have to wipe baby sitters memories every time they left. Sumitra smiled at the girl one last time before slipping out of the room and tip toeing back to the kitchen counter, the papers still lying there; a constant reminder that she had to actually finish her school work just like every other human. Human. The word was offensive to some but at the end of the day it was what she was. Everyone else was something else; her own twin brother wasn't even human. He was somehow a shape shifter despite the fact that there parents had both been humans or apparently, god if they were alive now they'd have a lot of questions to answer. She had joined the hunters when she'd returned, she didn't have any of their cool hightened senses but they'd never questioned how she knew what she did and hopefully they never would.
That's when she heard it. A car definitely over the speed limit, pulling into a parking lot outside. Staying out of direct view Sumitra sped over to the window and lingered watching the run down red car as it parked hastily. That was weird even for this area, havenswood never had any new visitors; ever. The watch on her wrist beeped twice, alerting her to the hour by habit she looked down to the watch on her wrist. 2 am. Who would be moving into an apartment or visiting a friend at 2 am?
A man stepped out of the car, his face at first hidden by the shadows left due to the malfunctioning street lights. It was clear that his rough looking car matched him, the jacket he was wearing looked just as worn as the car looked old. His faded jeans were close to becoming ripped and his shoes were strikingly similar to those worn by the bikers in movies. The athletically built figure turned, showing his scar lined face.
Sumitra gasped in recognition and stepped away from the window, her thoughts racing. When she'd been forced to leave Mexico about six months ago, she'd thought she'd be here, in havenswood, for at least a good few years. Not 6 months, hitmen didn't just give up after 6 months. So why was he here? The woman took a deep breath and back walked over the kitchen counter, wiggling a stiff draw until it opened revealing one of her oldest friends. She'd been a lonely child until she was about 15 and she'd learnt how to fit in with the other students. Admittedly she'd been a huge science nerd for most of it or part of her uncles gang, yeah. It wasn't exactly a normal childhood. She lifted the gun out of the draw and smiled absent mindedly as she looked at it, it held a whole load of memories both good and bad. Sumitra checked it was loaded before clicking it back into place and holding it behind her back. She doubted that she'd need to use it but better safe than sorry.
The door bell rang and Sumitra walked towards it, trying to ignore the numerous thoughts of every horror movie that began with the protagonist opening the door and then being butchered by the psycho on the other side.
