The love of a Princess and a Shaolin monk
In a large open flower garden, a young female sat with an drawling book open on her lap and a pencil in her hand, while a colors case set on the ground next to her. Quickly looking up she saw the object of her drawling looking at her with brown eyes and a sweet smile. This man was named Kung Lao, he was a sweet, passive person and really fit too. My name is Katherina Mira Lin, I am part earthrealmer and Edenian. My father is an earthrealmer, he's from China and my mother was Edenian, hence I said was, my biological mother disowned me when I turned 19 and now I am at the age of 20. I am an adult so I do not live with either of my parents, I visit my father every few months, but my mother, I don't even speak with her.
"What is that look for? Do I have something on my face?" I asked him. "No, there is nothing on that pretty face of yours. I just love staring at that pretty round face of yours. It is so adorable just like you." He gave me on of the most gentle smiles that I feel in love with. Rolling my eyes, I put my pencil in it carrier with the pens and I picked up a brown pastel to lightly shade in the eyes of the drawling that I had just finished drawling. "I will finish this later. It is getting dark fully in about half hour. We should head back to the camp where the rest of our "friends" are." I spoke as I put the pastel in its case and closed the case, as well putting the case and carrier in the small bag I carried everywhere. Picking up the drawling book, put the bag on my shoulders, I look over at him. "Ready to go." I spoke, my accent isn't very prominent compared to most others that is of Chinese decent.
The two walked in a silence, but it wasn't creep silence, but it was comfortable silence, one that could easily be broken it they wanted to. Once they got to the encampment, the sun was threatening to go down over the horizon. "Ya two are late! We're about to eat! So get over here." A man with short brown hair said. "Shut up Mr. Cage. Your just being gluttonous as always. Not everyone needs to eat on your time," I spoke a bit groggily. "Plus I am not that hungry at the moment." Everyone excluding Kung Lao looked at me confusingly, Kung Lao only shrugs at this. "I will eat when I am ready, it is not my fault I don't get hungry easily like most of you. It is how I am, what can I say?" I walk away after that to a calm spot, this calm spot was on the edge of the encampment. Sitting down, Katherina pulled out her pastel case, and opened up drawling book and went to finish her drawling that she started earlier that day. Smiling down at the picture. "It really does look like him. I am surprised that it does." Picking up a peach colored pastel to fill in the face. Once done with the coloration, Katherina slightly smudged the pastel in to give it the aged look that if let dry. Placing the peach pastel back in the box, Katerina picked up the black and did the hair. Finishing the hair, and smudging of the pastel, Katherina put the pastel back in and closed the pastel box. "That is a wonderful picture. You are wonder at doing what you do." Startled Katherina looks up to see Kung Lao sitting next to her. "I didn't hear you come up. You and your ability to teleport with that darned hat of yours." Katherina scolded him slightly with a red face. "It is getting late, we should get back to the camp and rest for the evening. Shall we?" Holding out his hand, Kung Lao helped Katherina up to her feet.
