Hey guys, new story here. Honestly, I wanted to post a new story ever since colorblind came out. I haven't given up on it, most likely I'll rewrite it as a Lenka & Olivia story which was the original idea for the story.

Anyways, I'm excited for this new story. I have so many ideas for it. Read, review, and forgive grammatical errors.

He remembered, everyone one of them. Their eyes, their hair, their body, their personality, every single thing detail about them. They surrounded him, he reached out to them as if at any second he'd leave and never see them again. He needed them, god how he needed them, he missed every one of them so much. Lovers, bestfriends, ghosts of the past, every single person he had loved stood right before his eyes.

His body trembled as his mind instructed him to run, but he couldn't leave them. Not again. "It's not my fault, it's not my fault" reverberated in his skull, like he was still trying to convince himself. He never asked to be this way but the sullen look in their eyes said otherwise. He wanted to speak, to apologize, to scream or at least whimper out that he never meant to be the way he is, but his mouth remained closed.

Memories of past experiences with every single person that stood before him flooded his mind. Smiles, laughs, tears, fights, their first meeting, growing old, their last moments all flashed before his eyes, like the headlights of a car. Everything that was shared between him and his lovers tortured him, because what they shared was no more.

Some were female, some were male, and some lived centuries ago, some just a mere few years ago. They were all so different, yet shared one thing in common, all of them had passed whereas he spent his life in a loop. An entire life that was looped for eternity, to close his eyes the moment death overtook him only to wake up as a child ready to experience life again. He fell to his knees, a single tear escaping his eyes leaving a trail down his cheek. His throat felt itchy as he managed to croak out the words that would placate all of them, set them all at ease, "I love y-".

"Len, Ittekimasu!"

The impetuous shout cut into the blissful silence, startling the boy out of a trance like sleep, tearing him away from his dreams. As he forced his eyes open, and waited for them to adjust to the faint lighting, he heard faint footsteps cross the threshold of his room. Soon his bed dipped lightly as a foreign weight sat itself besides him. When his eyes finally adjusted he turned to look at just who had disturbed his sleep, of course he knew it could only have been one person. "Rin, what are you doing up so early in the morning?" he groaned out. Len Kagamine, never really did care for the morning, they happened too early in the day if you asked him.

Rin's pale hand came down and swept some stray hairs obscuring Len's eyes. "I was on my way out but I noticed you were crying in your sleep, are you alright?" She leaned over, faced masked with concern.

Sitting upright he touched his hand to his cheek noticing that when his fingers left his face, they were slightly damp.

"Just an intense dream. I'm fine, no need to worry".

"Intense seems kind of like an understatement".

Len looked over at his sister and noticed that she was dressed up quite nicely in dark clothing, the black and grey tones of her clothing contrasting with her vibrant yellow hair. The usual spark in her eyes was nowhere to be found which struck Len as odd, but what really stuck out was the bouquet of green roses clutched in her hands. He looked down at the roses, a wave of curiosity washing over him.

"It's the date already?"

Rin's hands began to slightly shake as she nodded her head. Today was the fifth anniversary of Gumi's death, Rin's last partner. The two being inseparable, Rin was devastated to learn her partner had been involved in a fatal accident. She was oddly more attached to her than anyone else who had been her partner, and since Gumi's grave was close by to where they lived, she made it a tradition to visit her on the date of her death.

Even if Gumi's grave was half way across the world, Len was certain Rin would find a way to visit every year. The tension in the room seemed to get heavier between the two.

"She loved the color green, didn't she?" Len tried lightening the mood, Rin seemed ready to collapse. A sad smile plastered Rin's lips.

"Yeah she really did, green roses also symbolizes the constant renewal of life, so I thought-" She paused, hands still shaking.

A small sigh left Len's lips.

Both of them knew the pain when it came to falling in love with normals, yet both of them still fell like fools anyway. Being immortal meant constantly watching loved ones die, over and over again while the immortal was left to continue growing until death and wake up young again with only the memory of their past life and past and Rin over the course of their lives had heard multiple people wishing for immortality, it was venom to their ears.

Countless years have worn down their spirit, wishing for an end where they no longer had to leave the ones they loved. Where when their lover moved on to the next life, they followed or perhaps led. No longer being stationary, tied to life and earth and leaving the ones they love to brave the next life on their own.

A soft sob filled the air breaking Len from his reverie. He grabbed one of Rin's trembling hands and gave it a small squeeze, anchoring her to reality.

"Rin, would you like me to come with you?"

Rin looked up at Len with red-rimmed, pleading eyes. There was no reason for her to inform Len of her departure earlier, she wanted him to come and didn't know how to ask.

"P-please".

He nodded his head lightly as Rin got up to leave, whispering a barely audible "doumo" as she walked out the door.

Once he heard the door click shut, Len pulled the covers off in one swift motion. Swinging his legs off the side of the bed, he stood up and stretched, hearing a few small click from his stiff back. Hurriedly rushing to take a shower and get dressed, he dried and pulled his hair into its usual ponytail. Making his way into the living room he saw Rin, on the couch, staring intently at the flowers in her hands.

"Ready to go, Rin?"

This seemed to break her stupor. She rose from the couch, strolled over to Len, and linked her arm between his.

"Y-yeah I am, let's go". Arm in arm they walked outside and locking the door behind them, making their trek to the train station.

Silence engulfed the air as they walked down the road to the station, the day seemed to make fun of their grieving demeanor. The sun shined down on their bodies, warming them as storms overtook their freezing hearts.

Peaceful sounds filled their ears, stirring the hurricanes in their minds. Rin kept her eyes downcast, and her brows furrowed, refusing to look at the scenery Gumi would have loved.

As they finally made it to the station Rin dared to finally break the silence.

"I really miss her," was the last thing exchanged between the twins as their train filled the air with noise, drowning their voices and their thoughts out.
