"Hey, Broody, you ready for this?"

I heard my wife of three years say as she finished pinning up her half curled hair.

"Yeah, I am. I just wish that everyone knew we had gotten married three years ago. I want the whole world to know I am married to the beautiful, smart Brooke Davis who looks amazingly sexy in that black dress. (Luke said with his illegal but sexy as all hell Scott grin that she couldn't get enough of) He smiled from ear to ear with love filled eyes as he leaned in and kissed her passionately on the lips.

"I know Luke, but with the gossip the magazines bring, they would have a field day with this and I am just not ready for that yet…"

"I understand, Pretty Girl, I just wish it were different sometimes, but getting to hold you every night, being able to see that smiling face, love in your eyes, passion grow in your heart each day makes all the waiting in the world worth it." He gave her another meaningful chase kiss before heading to their high school.

"Well, well…. I'll be damned. Brooke Davis and Lucas Scott… "

"Hey, Skills how are you?"

"I am good, thanks and yourself."

"I am good as well, thanks. Broody, I am going to go get a drink, let you two catch up."

"Okay, pretty girl. So, how is it going man, it has been a while?"

"It has been good, same old. I hit a basketball court every chance I get. Speaking of, want to hit the river court after for old time's sake?"

"Sure, that would be awesome and definitely interesting"

"Brooke!"

"Hey Bevin! How are you lovey?"

"I am good, thank you. You look stunning as usual"

"Thanks, babes, you too"

"Compliments to the designer"

"I am sure she is just flattered to see her best friend wearing her design and getting a wonderful compliment as well"

As Bevin and Brook continued talking it came to an abrupt stop when they heard a familiar voice behind them.

"Well, just look at what the wind blew in"

"If it isn't a shady backstabbing blonde, hey, Peyton, how are you?"

"Brooke Davis, Tree Hill High's slut and from the looks of it nothing has changed."

"Apparently your school girl sassiness has yet to disappear either even with four years passing. There is still a strong sense of jealousy in those eyes of yours too."

"mhm, I wonder why? If you hadn't told Lucas what I told you after the play that night this would be a different story."

"I hate to break it to you Peyton, but Lucas is a man of actual feeling not just ranging hormones. There needs to be a deeper connection than just physical contact between two people and we had that."

"I love him, Brooke. I meant it then and I still mean it now."

"He is married Peyton, happily married."

"He told you that? I don't believe you."

"Not everyone lose touch after going off to college, Peyt. We were just the few who haven't."

"Well, I guess I am happy for him knowing that he is truly found someone to make him happy, especially knowing that I am not the only one that Lucas Scott left someone else for."

"Me, too, enjoy the rest of your night, see you around, Peyton."

"Thanks."

"Hey, Broody boy, I am back. I am sorry I took so long."

"It's fine. Did you run into anyone interesting?"

"You could say that…."

"Really? Who was it?"

"Bevin…. And Peyton…."

"Oh…. How was that?"

"It went well. She is glad you are happy and she is still as bitchy as ever."

Brooke and Lucas had continued their night dancing, laughing and hanging out with friends they had missed so much. Once the couples were tired of the high school and partying like the teens they were not so long ago, they headed to the River Court. Once on the River Court, they looked at the faded but still visible names of everyone that had been placed there on graduation night. After four years nothing had seemed to change… they men took to the court like they never left it while the ladies watched their still basketball crazed dates.

"Hey, man, still hung up on someone?"

"Huh?" Lucas said being brought out of his daze of Brooke gazing.

"I said, are you still hung up on someone? Brooke Davis still holds your vision like we're still in high school"

"I have got to tell you guys something, something important I have been hiding."

"Spill it man…. You can't just say that and then say nothing else…." They pleaded with Lucas even more curious for his news.

"I am married and all I can tell you at this point in time is that she makes me feel like the happiest man alive."

"We're happy for you man. She is a lucky girl, whoever it may be."

"Thanks guys. It means a lot."
