A God's Laughter
A/N: Sequel to A Taste of a Saltly Breeze
Athena inwardly smirked at the scene that had played out in front of her stormy grey eyes. She knew that Percy's brain was full of Kelp and would not know the difference between her and Annabeth if they looked exactly the same.
It was quite the shame that they reconciled.
Athena morphed back into her normal being and teleported her way to Olympus where she could see that all the Gods and Goddesses huddled around something that suspiciously looked like a Hephaestus TV.
'That was quite the show Athena.' joked Aphrodite, who looked as she was having the time of her immortal life. 'I thought the Wisdom Goddess' approach to the break-up of the union between Percabeth would be carefully prepared. Instead you chose to morph into your daughter and make out with the Son of Poseidon.. interesting.' she smirked, and refilled her golden goblet.
'Athena, I for one must agree with Aphrodite.' said Hephaestus. 'Maybe young Percy will break your vow of chastity?' the Wisdom Goddess glared at him.
'You have a crush on Percy!' smiled Aphrodite who glanced at her son Eros, who was speaking with his father Ares.
'I do not have a crush on Perseus, I just disapprove of the relationship between him and my daughter.' she paused, remembering the look Aphrodite gave Eros. 'Eros, come here.' she called to the minor god.
'Athena.' he greeted, hiding a smile.
'What did you do?' she asked, nostrils flaring.
'Well, erm.. Anteros and Himeros got bored, and you know what happens when they get bored..' trailed off Eros, who then ran off looking for his wife Psyche.
The rest of the day wasn't much better.
The countless number of times that gods and goddesses assumed she was one of the crazed goddesses with an obsession over Percy Jackson.
She managed to sneak away back to her house and logged onto her Olympus laptop, emblazoned with logos of owls and books. Sifting through Google search she found an interesting website.
FML – Your Everyday Life Stories
FmyLife: Share your everyday life unfortunate moments and other fail stories.
She looked at it with increasing interest and clicked onto the site. She quickly scrolled down the day's posts and laughed. Gathering confidence about the FML site she typed in:
Today, I was cursed by Eros. I kissed Percy Jackson – who's dating my daughter, and I've been accused of having some massive obsession crush over him! FML.
Okay, he is good looking – she thought, unknown to the fact that the Erotes were listening into her thoughts.
