I don't own Naruto. I do, however, own this poem that I'm literally making up in my mind as I write this thing. Who knew?
A poem about Naruto
Forward
All he can do is move forward
The child pushes himself past society-imposed barriers
Pranks gave him momentum
Acknowledgement gave a clear path
Bonds showed him his goal
It was never meant to be easy
Forward
The death of a kindred spirit
The shock of a shaded mirror that must be battled
The sorrow of the loss of a beloved mentor
It could never be dull
Forward
A comrade's most terrifying foe before him
Facing a foe while in the presence of those who dwarfed him without trying
Winning the admiration and allegiance of a leader
His path is filled with rocks and easy to stumble in
Forward
Returning only to fight a brother-in-arms
The pain of betrayal
The loss of what should have been an eternal bond
He doesn't mind, the pain of his path will help him remember
Forward
Training with a mentor and returning home after years to get stronger
Losing a friend, and regaining him with the loss of another
Learning of the gap within the bond he wants to restore
After all, he has no time to ponder as he walks
Forward
Losing a beloved mentor
Mastering secret techniques
Winning a battle of wills against his killer, a fellow apprentice
If he stops to ponder, he will never push through this unpaved road
Forward
Facing off against the darkest parts of himself
Purifying anger incarnate to prepare himself for his greatest enemies
Coming to terms with who he is
The boy becomes a man
His path is a road that leads to salvation
Though he can't wonder at what he is making, others will
All who follow him to peace will see his road
Dark and cold mean nothing to them as they follow him
After all
The man who made this road is the will of fire
Bright and warm as he walks
Never stopping
His will shall carry him past history
Always moving
Forward
