A/N: This is my first Peter Pan story so please bear with me here. Reviews would be lovely. Constructive criticism is encouraged because I want to get better. The movie I'm going on is the animated Disney one, but Wendy stayed in Neverland.
This is dedicated to Rosa Cotton for encouraging me to try Peter Pan fanfiction. And her stories are great. So, I hope you like it.
"I did it!"
"No, it was me!"
"No, it wasn't!"
Peter woke up to the Lost Boys arguing. He sat up and went over to them.
"Attention!" The boys lined up and saluted him. Peter paced back and forth in front of them with his hands clasped behind his back. "Where has Wendy gone off to? Because you boys would be quiet if she was here."
"Mother went flying." The twins said.
"Flying?"
"Tinkerbell gave her pixie dust and she flew."
Peter looked over at the fairy's spot. "Tink, come here." She flew over. "Where's Wendy?"
Tinkerbell gestured to him.
"She's playing a game? What game?" More gestures and bell sounds. "I have to find her?"
"Peter, it's like hide and seek and tag. Mother is good at it." Nibs said.
"She's as good as you, Peter." Slightly added.
Peter gave a cocky smile and put his hands on his hips. "I'm gonna go find her." He flew up into the air and headed for Wendy's favorite place. Mermaid Lagoon. The mermaid were jealous of her, but Wendy would insist going. There were some things he just didn't understand about her.
"Wendy? Wendy, are you here?"
There was no sign of her, so he flew to the Indian Camp. Tiger Lilly said that Wendy was not there. Peter scratched his head. "Where could she be?"
The only place left was the Pirates. He went there and she was still gone. Tinkerbell arrived and told him he was wrong. "I've looked everywhere except Skull Rock. Oh! Skull Rock!"
Once inside the cave he still didn't see her.
"Peter!" The voice echoed around the cave.
"Wendy?"
"Peter, come find me."
"I'm trying, Wendy, but I can't find you."
"Keep looking."
Peter flew up to the top and caught sight of Wendy's blue dress. "AHA! Here I come!" He flew towards her. Wendy saw him coming and took off into the sky. Halfway to the treehouse, Peter caught up and grabbed Wendy. They laughed together.
"Wendy?"
"Yes, Peter?"
"Tag. I win."
