The lights switch out in the Common Room, signaling that it's last occupants had left. My thighs ache because I'm still crouched in a squatting posistion behind a chair. The lights may have gone off but someone may still be here. I don't dare look because the slightest movement would reveal my secret hiding place. Just then, I hear a familiar whistle and breathe a sigh of relief. It's as if he were coming up behind me to whisper in my ear, 'The coast is clear'. I push the chair foward and straighten my legs. I gasp, not out of fear but out of amazment. I've known him for years but his beauty still captivates me.
"I'm sorry we have to do this," I whisper, "Everyone in my family already thinks I'm a little slut and if they find me with someone else..I'd be disowned for sure." Even in the dark light I can tell he's rolling his gorgeous, grey eyes at me.
"Ginny, it's okay," he whispers back, "It doesn't matter where we meet or who knows, the point is that we're together." He grasps my hand and I melt under his words like I do every time he says something that touches me deep.
"I know but I hate it!" I raise my voice as high as I can without the threat of being found, "What we have is so beautiful and the world should know. We shouldn't be in the dark! Er, no pun intended."
He laughs and slips his hand out of mine just to wrap it and it's mate around my body. "They'll know one day. The day we're married."
"You're fifteen and I'm fourteen. This is my third relationship, I don't want to think about getting married." I say, shocked he would even say that because he's not the type to rush into things.
"I didn't say we had to. But I know we will because we're made for each other. It's fate."
My calm essence soon turns to a scowl. "I don't believe in fate. This isn't set in the stars! Whatever happens; happens."
"It's alright, Ginny. But I love you and you know that."
I do know that. And just like that, I pull him down by his shirt and crash his lips into mine. Soon enough we're moving as one.
"I love you, too, Seamus" I say, gasping for breath as we break apart. "I love you, too." I turn and make my way up the stairs, ending our secret meeting.
