Long may she reign

What are the Wombles of Wimbledon Common hurrying with?

A commemorative piece for a special occasion.

Bungo found it.

Orinocco pedalled it back to the burrow.

Tomsk took it at the door.

Tobermory "sorted" it on the spot.

Wellington ran to deliver it.

Alderney rang the bell to summon Madame Cholet and all the other wombles to see.

And the very youngest womble, who had only just started at Miss Adelaide's Womblegarten, handed to Great-Great-Uncle Bulgaria the copy of the Times with the photographs of the day Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second became the longest reigning monarch of the Wombles of Wimbledon Common.

A/N: To quote Julian Lindley-French: 'Thank you, Your Majesty, for 63 years and 216 days of exemplary public services. Long indeed may you reign over me.'

And also thanks to Elizabeth Beresford, for creating a way for all us Brits to be sentimental and patriotic!
