This is the first time i try to write in english and my first fanfiction ever. This is so weird. And this is not my language, so please be nice to mistakes and don't hate me. I appreciate kind critiques.
I just had this image in my mind all the day and i thought to share it with you. Yes, i ship Mary Poppins and Bert since i was 5ys i think. Let me know what you think. Frozen was a biggest influence, i guess ;)I wrote it in Winter, if it makes more sense haha...
Mary Poppins arranged the scarf around her neck.
It was getting pretty cold in London in January as she could see people blowing through their warm overcoats and she didn't want to catch a cold of course.
She was having her usual walk in the park. Mary Poppins loved having long walks in winter, because the park in that season -except for the children- was particurarly empty. Not that she wanted to be alone or something, but she truly enjoyed the silence and the beauty of the pure white paths.
Every so often, even Mary Poppins allowed herself to enjoying little pleasures and one of those was the muffled sound of the snow under her boots.
She was walking by the little frozen lake, when she heard some heavier steps behind her.
"I knew i'd have found ya here, Mary Poppins."
She smiled under the scarf. "It's nice to see you again, Bert", she said without looking back.
He approached next to her and they both stared in silence at the iced willow's drops. Not too close for touching, but close enough for perceiving the warmth of each other.
When she finally began to feel her feet freezing, Mary Poppins turned towards him. Bert's blue eyes were half closed because of the cold and she could see some frost on his shoulders.
"We should come back and have a tea perhaps. You're getting cold, Bert."
"And your nose tip is gettin' red!", he asnwered with a grin.
She blushed. "And your cheeks too now.", he added then.
"Oh, just stop it!"
They both laughed and in that moment something little and frozen tickled their noses. They were snowflakes.
Bert looked up in the sky covering the eyes with a hand. "Seems like it's snowin', Mary Poppins."
"I have eyes to see too, Bert, thank you."
"And i'm pretty sure ya knows what this is meanin'. Aren't ya Mary Poppins?"
"I'm sure I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about.", she said crossing her arms and turning her back on, so that he couldn't see her smile.
Bert wrapped his arms around her, leaning his chin on her shoulder. Then he whispered singing to her ear..."Do you want to build a snowman?"
