Misa's Eyes.

Even with such momentous power and worth, only possessed the ability to value herself through Light's. Whatever he said, it went. And she rarely did think about the consequence her killings had on others, because of the faith she had for him- not God, exactly, like Mikami thought. Just…love. To all she had lost, she was willing to make losses for others. It didn't matter.

Pain had to be made up for only by more pain. And that pain would be inflicted upon others, because as far as she could tell, she had enough pain to last the lifetime.

And she was not ignorant. She was in love- there was not much difference, especially if you consider the amount of sacrifices made for love. In a way, there was the knowledge. She knew exactly what she was doing to others, knew exactly how one person's death did not only cause suffering to one individual. It was often to many. No matter the criminal, she did what Light told her. And not exactly for justice- she could barely fathom the meaning of the word, seeing as how none had been generously presented to her in her lifetime. None she had recalled anyway. There was a part in her heart that was blind… and all too noticing of the unfortunate circumstances she was in. Fulfilling that complete and utter emptiness in herself- well, there was only one way. To be vitally unaware of one's actions, whatever that may take, all the while bestowing whatever you had to a loved one, would be ideal. Not knowing, stuffing all the horrible crimes blissfully committed down into someplace where they could be forgotten. With this power, she had the eyes. Not the all-mighty powerful shinigami eyes… just the eyes of a person who knew too much, wanted too little, and gained a horrible fate. A shiny, gold key to a rusty lock encompassed in black. Through that door opened up the greatest gift- ignorance.
