A massive explosion rocked the Tara fairy port, sending lethal shrapnel spinning into the numerous lines of civilians.
Causalities were, simply Brutal. And they weren't even started.
The Navy blue infantry sped into the complex, gunning down everything that even raised an arm. The cries of fear and chaos didn't seem to matter to these killers, gunning down LEP officers and fairy civilians alike as they dashed towards the facility's main hub. And, despite the powerful, new born green star projectiles that were being used with creepy gusto against everyone, the fatalities where barely two digits high.
without an audible sound, not an intercept-able communication, they took up positions, strange carbines and powerful pump action guns covering the numerous doors, glowing rifles holding the corridors, humongous Gatling guns holding sway over the main check-in hall, while snipers checked everyone's avenue. A green hell of weaponry.
A five troop squad had already reached the command room and, batting the Pixie manager aside and into some 'science' terminals, started to lock down the room.
Their next act caught the bruised, agonized survivors off guard. These murderers did what no sane fairy criminal would do...
They called LEP plaza.
"Hello, LEP plaza, what is your emergency?"
A rough, Asian accent filtered though the elf's headphone "several things, one: put this on the main Screen in central... no, really lives are at stake..." several seconds of silence " and make sure they know that TARA is no officially under hostile control... and we have a request to the LEP commander..."
The elf operator had already done this, yet used the second order to place it onto all monitors.
"There, now wha-"
The spokes-marine of the attacking force suddenly spoke, cutting off the elf.
"we have TARA under lock and key, and will ONLY free civilians if the LEP follows our instructions... the first one...:" He cruelly paused for effect,
"Get Artemis Fowl below ground." The Veteran cut the link, and activated a communication barrier generator attached to his belt.
The whole of police plaza gasped...
