It was a beautiful night in San Francisco and at the home of the Hart family things were great. David was getting ready for bed with his dogs Charlie and Sasha, but his parents Tom and Claire were still dealing with their baby girl Molly.

"It's been two weeks since she's been born and it's been hard for us, but so rewarding." said Claire, as she changed Molly's dipper.

Tom gave his wife a loving smile. "Having those dogs are real rewarding as well. Mostly Charlie because he's loyal, playful, protective of David and loving."

Claire smiled in agreement. After Molly was put to bed, Claire went to the bathroom to take a shower. Tom watched his wife take off her clothes, but before she could take off her underwear a sound came from the hallway. Mrs. Hart knew that it was not her husband because she could see him in the bedroom.

"David is that you?" called Claire, as she stood at the doorway of the bathroom. There was no answer.

Claire began to feel scared because she there was a scratching sound coming from the hallway. She slowly walked into the hallway, but then the sound stopped and all she could hear was the sound of the wind blowing through an opened window.

"It's just the wind," sighed Claire.

Suddenly something jumped on her and pulled her bra off. It was Charlie.

Mrs. Hart laughed. "Don't you scare me like that, Charlie." she warned, as she patted and rubbed his head.

Charlie wagged his tail happily as Claire kissed him on the lips playfully and then went back to the bathroom.

Mr. Hart looked at his wife after she finished her shower. "Ready for bed?" he asked, as he put down his bedtime book. "More then ever, Tom." replied the woman, as she climbed into the bed.

Claire looked at her husband with a smile. Charlie scared me." she said, as turned off the light. "What did you do to him?" asked Tom with a yawn.

"I kissed him." she said with a laugh. Tom looked at his wife with a smile. He knew how she felt about Charlie.

Meanwhile in David's room Sasha looked at her mate. "What were you doing out of bed?" she asked, as she snuggled up with Charlie.

Charlie smiled at Sasha. "I scared Claire." he laughed. Sasha looked at him with a frown. "That was not vary nice, Charlie."

The German Shepherd grinned at his mate. "It was just a joke." he stated.

"What did Claire do to you for scaring her?" asked Sasha. "She kissed me." said Charlie. Sasha then knew that Charlie was being the funny and loving dog he was.
