Author's Notes: I was listening to this song from REPO! while looking up POTO fanfics. Thought it seemed fitting.

Christine Daae gazed at her vanity mirror with a sense of foreboding danger. It was only a few minutes before she was to perform in her so-called angel's piece, Don Juan Triumphant. She sighed and stared down at her hands. They were clasped firmly.

Christine's gaze hardened, "I must be brave." She slipped on her golden bracelets, "Come, come what may."

She stared at the mirror, her eyes sad yet hopeful, "Can I be saved? Is there a way..." Christine squared her shoulders and opened her door, "At the Opera, tonight."

Madame Giry trudged through the hallways of the theater, her face solemn. This night was either going to be the beginning, or the beginning of the end. She warned the Managers that something like this would happen. "I've made my peace," she sang.

The Phantom, Erik, threw his cloak over his shoulders, "No chance for peace."

Meg Giry held her head high, "I hold no grudge."

Erik's eyes blazed beneath the black mask, "I'll end this grudge."

Madame Giry reached the spiral stairs, "My girl will sing."

"I'll stain the stage!" Erik picked up a candle.

"Her final song," Giry reached the top of the stairs.

"They'll run with blood," Erik lit his model stage on fire.

"At the Opera, tonight!"

"One more note, for the show!" screeched Carlotta to her servant, "Make it fast!"

"Take it slow," worried Piangi.

"One more note, to make me glow!" She fanned herself.

"Go and croak..." murmured Carlotta's maid.

Piangi and Carlotta hurried to the stage, "For tonight's show!"

The managers were present in their regular box.

"Tonight we set the stage!" sang Firmin.

"Tonight we set the stage!" repeated Andre.

"Our greatest play," Firmin stood proudly from his chair.

"Our greatest place," Andre peered at the crowded audience.

Raoul clasped his hands nervously, "All plans are laid."

Firmin and Andre shared a look, "All debts are paid...!"

"At the Opera, tonight!"

He's there, The Phantom of the Opera!

He's there, The Phantom of the Opera!

Erik tightened his grip on his Punjab Lasso, "At the Opera, tonight!"

He's there, the Phantom of the Opera!

He's there, the Phantom of the Opera!

Madame Giry watched as Christine took her place by the curtain, "Erik, please, no harm to her."

Carlotta pushed the other dancers on the stage for her to be in front, "At the Opera, tonight!"

He's there, The Phantom of the Opera!

He's there, The Phantom of the Opera!

"Erik, please, no harm," Giry whispered, a single tear falling.

"At the Opera, tonight!"

The curtains were drawn up, the lights flood the stage. The show begins.
