Blood. Fire. Bodies.

That and the sounds of gunfire and explosions echoed around Solf J. Kimblee. 'Ah, what a marvelous symphony of destruction,' he thought, grinning wickedly from his vantage point on top of a building right in the middle of Ishval.

"I really do love my job," he sighed out loud as he noticed a family of Ishvalans trying to flee. Grinning once again, Kimblee lifted a blood red Philosophers Stone to his lips. Holding it between his teeth, he clapped his transmutation circle tattoos together and placed his hands on the building he was on.

Red lightning shot out and engulfed the area; a moment later, everything that the light had touched was blown into a huge crater. Screams from the Ishvalans echoed and died all too quickly, but it didn't faze Kimblee.

His eyes lit up with mad delight as the explosion's shock wave reverberated through his entire body. "YES! What a breathtaking sound that is! This Philosophers Stone is amazing! Come, little Ishvalans! Come and meet your fate, you cowards!"

Kimblee laughed insanely as smoke continued to rise from the crater he had just created with his alchemy. Far off, he could still hear other explosions, screams, gunshots…..

Kimblee sighed in boredom as the car continued through Amestris. The sound of those explosions and the smell of blood and rotting flesh were still fresh in his memory.

"What's the matter?" asked Envy, who was driving the car.

"Oh, nothing," sighed Kimblee, gazing at his new Philosophers Stone with a growing smile on his face, "Just an old memory."

A/N: The Black Muse strikes again in this gory story with a vengeance! And this time, I'm actually impressed with my work! I like this story; for what it's worth… I might re-write this later, but I'm actually happy with it the way it is, so probably not. Enjoy my insanity while it lasts!
