Part I

Somehow, Hiro, Baymax, and Abigail had ended up back inside of the portal when it happened. Once again, Baymax's thrusters had been irreparably damaged by a giant piece of debris. Flying out was no longer an option. It had begun to seem like they'd be stuck inside the portal forever. Then, just like the first time this had happened, Baymax had a solution to their problem. However, his solution only involved Hiro and Abigail.

"What-what about you, asked Hiro nervously.

"You are my patient", replied the big white robot. "Your health is my only concern."

The very thought of leaving his friend terrified the teenage boy.

"No!" shouted Hiro. "You can't!" "I-I'll think of something!" The poor boy was desperate now. He had to figure out a way to save his buddy.

"Hiro", replied the robot. "There is no time."

"Please, no!", Hiro pleaded. "I can't lose you again!"

Baymax looked at the teen and pointed to his heart.

"I will always be with you, Hiro", the robot replied.

Tears began to well up in the teen prodigy's eyes as he looked at his friend.

"I cannot deactivate until you say that you are satisfied with your care", Baymax reminded him.

Hiro shook his head as the tears slid down his cheeks.

After a few seconds, Baymax asked Hiro if he was satisfied with his care.

Just like last time, Hiro hugged the robot and him that he was.

Baymax returned the hug before they were separated once again.

Shortly after Hiro and Abigail had come back out of the portal, a team of paramedics arrived to take her to the hospital.

After they left, Hiro remembered something.

The last time this happened, he'd brought Baymax back using the health-care chip that was in one of the robot's rocket fists.

Unfortunately, when he went back to look, the chip wasn't even there.

Baymax was gone.
