hey guys,
I know I haven't been updating Togerther for a while, because I'm still working on it, with a busy school week in tow. I solemnly swear on the River Styx that I'll update it this weekend! In the meantime, I hope this one-shot will keep you entertained

The feeling was good. She rode on Arion along the coast back towards the Argo II, the salty breeze whipping through her hair and Frank the tan ochre stallion racing beside her (since Arion took pity on Frank and ran a normal horse's speed). Hazel whooped for joy as the horses leapt gracefully over a fallen tree.
They kicked up a fine cloud of sand, flying in their wake as the horses galloped across the beach. Hazel wished she could understand horse language like Percy so she could hear them enjoying themselves with her.
"Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooo oaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh…" she yelled in surprised mingled with adrenaline as they landed and dashed downhill towards the ship. She threw her arms apart, embracing the rush of air, her fingers brushing against Frank's horse mane. She laughed as it whipped behind him, tickling her palm. Her voice carried with her the entire lap, trailing behind her as her hoofed counterparts circled the ship to slow down. It took her a while before she realized someone's voice had joined hers.
"Ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh…"
Leo Valdez stood on the deck of the Argo II, throwing his arms out as if in the Titanic (except that he wasn't at the mast head). He grinned mischievously down at them as they slowed to a stop in front of him.
"…oooohhhhhhhhh… oh oh oh oh – OPPA GANGNAM STYLE!"
On cue, the music started blaring the chorus and Leo moved from foot to foot, with an alternating double step, his arms crossed in front of him as if riding a horse, like Hazel. As he changed his arm movement, Hazel saw Percy join in on the deck, doing the same footsteps as they wrung invisible lassos over their heads. Then they went back to galloping, riding after each other in a circle. Leo must have edited the track to let him and Percy keep doing the horse-riding step, because the chorus repeated again, this time with a few extra pre-chorus bars. He and Percy thrust their arms out and walked towards each other with swag. Their soles must have been oiled, because they let their steps slide behind them, creating the effect that they were relishing a wind that kept blowing them back.
"Heeeeeey Hazieeeeeeeee!" he called in an annoying voice as she and Frank climbed onto the ship (Arion left in disgust). "Enjoyed your ride?" Percy yelled over the music as they started galloping again. They galloped towards each other and high-fived. Hazel opened her mouth to retort, but Jason (of all people) saw it coming and raised the volume to drown her, riding in the lasso with the other boys. They shook their legs sideways, moving horizontally across the deck, laughing like maniacs.
Hazel felt her cheeks searing. She whipped around to look at Frank and found him tapping his foot to the beat.
"What?" She glared at him.
He shrugged in defence. "It's catchy."
"Boys," she muttered, heading to her room.
