To Whom It May Concern,
It has come to our attention that an unauthorized series of novels about one Alex Rider has been published. And while we do not claim any association with one Alex Rider, we feel that it would be best to set the matter straight.
The fact is that Alex Rider was killed when a bullet entered his heart, in front of the Royal and General Bank on Liverpool Street, London. Although paramedics arrived quickly, he died at the scene soon after the bullet struck him down.
While we neither confirm nor deny any affiliation that MI6 has with Alex Rider, the novels that have been published contain at least a small portion of truth in them, although a great many details were changed. However, the author of these novels has continued writing completely fictional stories about Alex Rider, despite the fact that he has passed away. The novels that continue after Alex Rider's supposed survival (named Ark Angel, Snakehead and Crocodile Tears) are obviously fabricated, as they include almost idiotic events, such as Alex Rider going into space.
While these books are relatively harmless, we would like to advise the author to discontinue his writing, as it is disrespectful to the memory of Alex Rider, and could create difficulties for MI6.
Yours Sincerely,
Tulip Jones
