Summary: A VERY pregnant and VERY alone Jude runs off to a small Connecticut town. Gilmore Girls crossover. Jommy.
Looking out over the quiet town Jude smiled to herself, one hand carrying a small duffel bag with all her worldly possessions , and the other resting protectively over her stomach. Three months pregnant she had little going for her, but was determined to make sure that her baby had more than she did.
Her parents had walked out on her. Her mother to Europe with her divorce lawyer, after selling their house, and her father to the states with his mistress. When her sister Sadie found out Tommy had left she said it was the last straw, and blamed everything on Jude, insisting it was her fault they all left. The next morning Jude awoke to find a note reading "Transferring colleges.Don't forget to be moved out by Friday."
Tommy, the one person she thought she could always depend on had abandoned her and refused to answer her calls, although she hadn't resorted yet to breaking the news of their baby to him over a message left on his phone. It just didn't seem right for something so important to be told that way.
Jamie and Kat were giving their relationship another shot, and had point blank told her that she was a "danger to the relationship".
Darius had fired her when she confidentially told him she was pregnant. He had been even more irate when she had refused to reveal the father. All she cared about was that he didn't know it was Tom.
Mason would've come with her if she told him she was leaving, he was just like that. But she couldn't. He had a whole future with a wonderful career to look forward to, and she wouldn't ruin that for him.
So here she was, a seventeen year old single mother running from her past and head on into her future. A future that at the moment seemed to include a little Connecticut town by the name of Stars Hollow.
Authors Note:
Basically in this version both of Jude's parents left her and so did Sadie, and well, so did Jamie and Kat. I know it was kinda overkill, but I wanted it to seem less like she was running from her problems, and more like it really was smart to leave. Tommy and her slept together in Hallelujah, but weren't really "together". Plus, when Tommy left Jude didn't' bang on the car windows (that part always bugged me for some reason) or go to Barry and get drunk she just went home where the incident with Sadie occurred. I'll probably do a flashback to the scene later, but I'm not sure. That's it , I think, but if anything isn't clear just review about it...
