Story of ores
Stevie got pushed off a cliff by a cow.
Okay. Maybe not the best way to start a story, but it was true. Stevie was picking apples off the leaf blocks when a cow nudged her off the cliff.
"Yagh! Stupid cow!" Stevie screamed, pumping her legs. "I just collected twenty apples, you moron!"
The cow didn't seem to care.
"I'll kill you later!" Stevie shouted as the ground got closer and closer.
The cow grazed by some sheep.
"Stupid-" she began, then died.
She respawned in her house.
"Where there are no cows." She muttered. She looked sadly in her chest. She was going to bake an apple pie. She only had three apples.
Stevie crafted an iron pickaxe and walked out the door, where she immediately floated above surface. Her house was underwater.
She was walking back and forth on the terrain, trying to decide where to mine. She picked a spot and started digging down. "Coal," she said as she picked black ore.
"Iron," Stevie proclaimed as she mined yellowish-orangish ore.
"Cool! Redstone!" Stevie said, shielding her eyes as the bright red stone gave off a curl of smoke.
"Lapillus Lauzi!" She cried as she mined the dark blue ore. She had never mined this much before.
The sky was darkening and Stevie's pickax was running down. She was going home, Stevie decided, after a few more blocks.
"What in the Nether-" Stevie started.
Gold! Yes! She was rich!
No. "Holy crap-" diamonds! Yes! Yes! Yes!
The pickaxe was wearing down to red.
'Couldn't get much better than this,' Stevie thought, dancing around.
Then she hit a dark green ore. "Huh?" Stevie said aloud. She mined it. It was zombie ore.
'What the crap is zombie ore?' She thought. She suddenly got bit on the hand.. 'What?' she was really confused. Still, she dug deeper down.
It was really dark now. Stevie lit a torch to prevent monsters from spawning.
Stevie then saw a milky white ore. 'Huh? Is this a trap?'
She mined it. An arrow shot out and hit her in the shoulder.
"Ow," she whimpered, clutching her bleeding shoulder. The ore was called "skeleton ore"
She wanted to stop mining, and you couldn't even see how much of the pickaxe was left, but Stevie couldn't help it when she saw an ore that was colored sort of like birch leaves.
'I'll bet my diamonds,' Stevie thought, 'That this is a creeper ore, and I'll get blown up as soon as I mine it. No, I'll skip this one.'
But she was curious of what the ore would do if she smelted it.
"So much for ignoring it," thought Stevie. She braced herself for a white explosion. Nothing happened.
"Huh," Stevie said, relaxing. "I get to keep my diamonds." Sure enough, the ore was labeled 'Creeper ore.'she dug deeper until her pickaxe disappeared. Then the stone above exploded. Stevie was coated with rubble.
She had plenty of stone, and 4 pieces of wood. She made a crafting table and a furnace in the small room. She turned back around to collect the things in the furnace and saw a lot of glowing red eyes.
'Ohhh crap,' thought Stevie as she braced herself for an attack. She quickly gathered a. . .zombie, creeper, and skeleton spawner from the furnace. She did not know that would happen.
She placed the spawn eggs onto the floor before her.
Then she watched as her monsters tore the spiders apart.
