Chapter One - Roman
Roman Reigns heard the encouraging words from his tag team partner, Seth Rollins, who was standing outside the ring along with the third member of their team, Dean Ambrose. He was in a one on one match with Daniel Bryan and of course, he had to do the whole kicking bit where Roman would be sitting back on his heels while Bryan kicked him in the chest about ten times. It was ridiculous having to do this but it was his job and he would live through it. He could hear the crowds in the audience count along with Bryan but he heard the occasion Roman chants which made it a little bit more bearable. And he heard Seth.
Seth Rollins. His tag team partner. His best friend. And the one man that he wished he could have. But it was something that would never happen and he knew that it would ruin everything between them. But it didn't stop a man from wanting someone. For the past year or so, they had been teaming together, had even won the tag team titles together, and they spend the biggest parts of their days together along with Dean. They were a cohesive unit, even if the rumors had started going around that there was an imminent break up going to take place.
Finally the time had come to put on the final offensive in the match before the group known as the Wyatt family came out and got Bryan disqualified because they attacked Roman. Dean and Seth would come in, there will be a battle between the six of them and then the group known as The Shield would leave via the crowd, as they came in. Standing in the crowd, Roman had his arm around Seth's shoulder and pulling Dean back as if trying to keep him from going back to the ring. It was a typical end to what has been going on for a while now and they backed up towards the back.
When they got to the gorilla position, they finally turned to each other and gave each other high fives for another successful match and pre-match with the Wyatts. They had a pay per view match coming up in just under a month and they were well on their way to making it one of their greatest successes. They walked back to the locker room, Roman walking behind the two of them, his eyes glancing to Seth a number of times as him and Dean talked. He knew that the two of them were close and it killed him every time he had to see the two of them together. He didn't know if they were more than just friends, didn't even want to think about the possibility as it hurt.
When they got to the locker room, Roman sat down on the bench and leaned back, closing his eyes. He didn't know if they were scheduled to do anything else that night so it was a waste of time to go ahead and take a shower. He listened to the conversation between Seth and Dean and sighed deeply, his mind going back to a night after him and the two toned Ninja had successfully defended their title belts. It was the one time that he let his guard down around him and had hugged him a little too long, his arms wrapped around Seth's waist a little too tight. But Seth hadn't pulled away.
Didn't that mean something?
