Dear Mr Schuyler,

We would be honoured if you attended the marriage of Elizabeth Schuyler and Alexander Hamilton.

Thank you for paying!

Love from,

Your daughter and Alexander Hamilton

P.S. I promise I will never cheat on Eliza she is beautiful and a pure cinnabun and too perfect for this world from Alex

P.P.S. The above does not include my boyfriend John.

Our Dearest, Angelica,

We are getting married. We would be honoured if you be be our maid of honour. Your duties will include making a speech, staying sober to keep Alex's friends calmish and at least pretending to be happy for us.

All our love,

Eliza (and Alexander)

P.S. If you want to call my 'friend' John, he is organising a support group for people with a hopeless crush on Alexander Hamilton.

Aaron Burr, sir?

You may have heard about my upcoming marriage to a Miss Elizabeth Schuyler. I know you probably won't come because I'm a much better writer than you, but I felt obliged to send an invitation.

I also believe it would be good manners to invite you to the after-party, a small affair with Laurens, Mulligan and Lafayette the night after.

Your obedient servant,

A. Ham

Yo, Herc, waddup?

So I'm having this important ceremony where I wear a suit and Eliza wears a veil and Laurens makes some stupid speech about turtles probably and then I am permanently unavailable. You wanna come?

Also, drinks with the squad the night after, you in? Don't tell Eliza.

Oh, and maybe make Eliza's dress? We don't know a better tailor than you and she will pay anything to get the right one (or her father will)

Alex (and Eliza)

Bonjour Lafayette,

Mon ami, *air kisses*, I would like you to attend the ceremony that binds me forever to the beautiful lady standing behind me.

Okay, Eliza's gone, as well as the wedding we're getting drinks the night after, you in?

Monsieur Hamilton (and Eliza)

My dear Laurens,

This is by far the most difficult letter I have ever had to write. I guess the story starts at the winter's ball we went to, remember?

I met a girl named Elizabeth Schuyler. She was pretty, charming and interested in me. You know what it's like with girls sometimes (for example, your wife?).

Anyhow, I have been talking with Eliza for a while now (yes, I do mean three weeks John, you know me so well) and, well, she is my second choice for the person I would like to spend the rest of my life with. So... I bound myself to her forever using a ring.

Please don't be mad. You will forever be my number one choice, yet our cruel society prevents our happily ever after.

I want you as my best man. Well, I'd rather have you as the bride, but I don't think that would go down very well seeing as Eliza's father is financing the entire affair.

I need you to write a speech. Tell the world how lucky they are to be alive at the same time as I am. I'm sure that won't be too difficult for you.

There is also a small party the following night - drinks with the Hamilsquad.

I'm so sorry.

I will always love you,

Alexander

A/N Was really just kind of bored, thought this might be a good idea but it's 2:09 in the morning so it's probably rubbish.

In the last letter, the reference to Laurens' wife is an actual historical thing. He met her whilst at school in London, she got pregnant so he married her and told his uncle he married her out of pity (true story)

Anyway, yay, rubbish fanfic y'all can use as an excuse for being online in class ('it's history sir/miss')

Thanks for reading!
