"Hey Mom? Where's Perry?"

The red-headed boy was searching everywhere for his semi aquadic mammal. Ferb was looking also, but kept on lifting his head to make sure his brother didn't search in the same places he did. Linda walked into the room and peeked into Perry pet-carrier.

"Hmm…that's odd. I could have sworn I saw you put Perry in his pet-carrier"

Phineas poked his head out from behind the sofa.

"Me too. And I even locked it. How can an animal with no aposable thumbs unlock a cage?"

Linda just shrugged and searched along with Phineas and Ferb.

"I don't know, Phineas. That animal can be somewhat of a hasstle sometimes. We better find his soon, his apointment is in an hour."

MEANWHILE

Steph, Vicky, and Doof were walking on the sidewalk of the suburban Danville, and every 10th step they took, Doof loosened his collar in nervousment. He's never been to Perry the Platypus's house before. What if he attacks him? What if he asks him to go away? WHAT IF HE'S ALERGIC TO FLOWERS?! Steph and Vicky seemed to have noticed his distress and they both put their arms around the worried doctor. Vicky smiled at him.

"Don't worry Doof, everything'll be fine. Just you wait."

Steph smiled then.

"Yeah Doofy, what's the worst he can do?"

Doof stopped a minute and thought about what the worst could be. Then he burried his head into his hand. Vicky patted Doof's back glaring at Steph.

"You really know how to comfort someone (!)"

Steph took her hand off of Doof's back.

"….."

Doof looked at Steph, the places his hand on her shoulder.

"M-Maybe it would be best if you left, Stephanie."

The bluely dressed brunette just stood there in shock. Never before had he told her to go away, and actually meant it. Her shocked expression turned into an emotionless face.

"Alright. Bye"

She turned around and started walking away, but felt a hand on her shoulder once more. She turned around to see Vicky. She tried to shrug her off, but she kept a firm grip on her.

"Steph…"

Steph just stared at her blankly.

"Just forget it. I guess now's a great time to start looking for another job. S-see ya later."

She turned away before they could see a tear slide down her cheek. She removed Vicky's hand from her and resumed her walking. It was until Steph reached the city before Vicky or Doof spoke again.

"L-let's continue on."

They resumed their walk toward's Perry's house. Before they got to the house, Perry himself was about to go up to them. He was flying overhead on his jetpack; he was about to land in front of them, when he saw a tear-filled Steph walking the opposite direction. He didn't know the girl that well, but he's talked to her a few times before. He changed directions of his jetpack and headed towards her.
