Chapter one.
Hermione walked into the dining hall, Harry and Ron trailing behind her. Her curly hair, hung loosely around her face. They stopped short, looking at a boy. This boy had very light blonde hair, almost white hair, he had pale skin and green eyes.
"So it is true, what they said on the train. Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts," the boy said as he extended his hand out towards Harry. "I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy."
Ron snickered, making Draco glare at him. "You don't want to be with the wrong crowd now do you." He smiled and extended his hand out.
Harry looked at it and then back up at him, "I think I can tell for myself who's the wrong crowd."
Draco glared at Harry and then looked at Hermione. His green eyes widened with surprise. He thought she was perfect, how could she be hanging around with the two freaks? He planned to talk to her later...alone.
Two hours later Draco walked up to Hermione, with a smile on his face. He tapped her on the shoulder and she swiftly turned around.
She smiled and said, "Congrats on making it into Slitherin."
"Thanks, same to you with Gryffindor."
"Thanks, so your a Malfoy?"
"Yeah it kind of makes people think I'm not so good. What's your last name?"
"Granger, Hermione Granger," she said with a smirk. A lifeblood? That couldn't be. He couldn't be with her.
"Your a mudblood?"
"Well, I wouldn't use that term but yeah I guess so. Why, is that a problem?"
"Uh, no. It was nice to meet you Hermione. Maybe I'll see you around." He smiled and walked off.
She stood there for awhile thinking about his bright smile. How could he be a Malfoy?
