Stanley held his injured side, blood seeping through his fingers. Stanford kneeled down next to his brother, a look of shock and horror on his face.
"Stanley. Wh-who did this to you?" he stuttered. Stanley cringed, pain coursing through his injured side.
"It was... Bill... Bill Cipher. But... I showed him not to mess with me, that's for sure..." Stanley replied, not wanting to show that he was truly hurt. Stanford's face turned into an angered expression. He clenched his fists tightly but he had to put his anger aside to help his brother.
"Stanley... how could I let this happened?" Stanford asked out loud.
"Hey... um, it wasn't your fault, you know?" Stanley replied, speaking through the pain. Stanford gave a grim look, clearly worried for Stanley's well being.
"You clearly need my help. Here, let me just..." he started before Stanley interrupted him in protest.
"No! I don't need your help! I'll... be fine." Stanley insisted, grunting the last part out of pain. Stanford rolled his eyes a bit.
"Stanley, your bleeding quite profusely. Just let me help you." he said, trying not to shout the last part.
"I told you I don't need your..." he began before another familiar voice was heard.
"Grunkle Stan! Grunkle..." came the voice of none other than Mable Pines. She stopped mid-sentence, gasping in horror alongside her brother Dipper Pines who also let out a shocked gasp.
"Kids, I, uh, it's not as bad as it looks..." he said trailing off.
"What the what?! Are you bleeding?" Mable said in shock. She then ran to her great uncle's side, Dipper following her.
"Yeesh. That looks pretty bad..." the young boy said, cringing. Ford got to his feet, turning to face the distressed twins.
"I need you two to listen carefully. Stanley has been stabbed by an evil force. We must tend to his wounds immediately." he said, determined to help his brother weather he wanted it or not.
"We're here to help you Grunkle Stan." Mable said, a determined look on her face. Dipper nodded in agreement, ready to help in any way he could.
"No I..." Stanley tried his best to protest but Stanford wouldn't hear of it.
"That's enough, Stanley! Your hurt and we will help you weather you want it or not." he said, kneeling down once more and carefully sliding his hands under Stanley's body. His brother attempted to push him away but he cringed at the pain in his side.
"Don't tell me what to do you..." he trailed of, wincing once more at the pain.
"Stop fighting it, Stanley." Stanford said, truly trying to help his injured brother.
"Dipper! Mable! We need a first aid kit. And hurry!" Stanford said.
"We're on it!" Mable said before running to go find what was needed.
"Right, on it, of course!" Dipper agreed, following his sister. The two brothers were left to lye in wait.
