Notes: Just a little one-shot where Nick ponders on Ellis' tattoo.

Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters. :(

Nick noticed it the first time their ragtag group formed. One had to actually pay attention to see it since it was mostly covered by a sleeve, unless said shirt was off, then he could see the whole thing. He often wondered what would have possessed the hick to get it, but it was nice.

Right now he was getting the opportunity to see it in its full glory. That was, until he got interrupted.

"Ya know Nick, that's kinda creepy, what yer doin' right now.." Ellis hummed, staring back at the conman as if to mimic him.

Nick looked to the boy's face, raising a brow. He wasn't going to get caught that easily. "Doing what?" Such an innocent question wasn't suited for him.

"Starin'," the hick replied, lowing his head. He then lifted his hands, digits wiggling, "Like a zombie." The action made Rochelle laugh, shifting in her seat on the couch. "He was staring at your tattoo, sweetie." Nick shot her a scowl.

"Oh this ol' thing. Got it a couple years back, I reckon. My buddy Kieth dared me to get it. Won me a grill." He sounded so excited about that, Nick couldn't help but noticed. "You should get one, Nick."

The conman frowned, "Not in this life time, Overalls."

"I know a little about tattooing, I could give it a try," Coach bellowed with a laugh, not at all bothered by the death glare from the other man.

"Don't encourage him, Coach," Nick warned. Even though he was actually thinking about it, the thought was shot down by Coach's abilities.

Definitely not.
