The Cullens Get a Kitty

I was sitting on my couch watching the game with Charlie. It was soooo boring, but I didn't have any thing else to do because Edward was out hunting. Someone knocked on the door. "Hey" it was Edward. "Hi" I hugged him, but I pulled away.

"Oww"

"What?" he had said with concern.

"Something scratched me" he looked at me weird.

"Ohhh….look" He held out a little kitten with grey, white, and black fur all mixed together. It was so cute.

"Awww….its so cute"

"Alice found a mother cat and her kittens in the woods, so she took them to our house to look after them"

"Are they running around all over your house?"

"No, they're in Alice's room"

"Bella, I'm kind of worried that Jasper might…..ya know and so I picked out this kitten for you."

"Aww….Edward, thank-you" I gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Bella, who's at the do….Oh, hello Edward" "Hello, Chief Swan" Edward said.

Charlie looked at me and then saw the kitten. "Oh, what?....where'd you you get this, Bells?"

"Oh well, Edward gave it to me"

"Yes, Alice found kittens and their mother and took them to our home, and I remembered awhile back that Bella told me she loved cats. So I brought one for her,"

"Well that was….very kind of you Edward." Charlie said, then he walked back in the living room.

Edward's phone rang. "Excuse me for a second." He answered it. "Hello Alice" he said.

"Yes, yes alice, I have it to her, yes, the cat's very cute, yup, okay" "Here" He held out the phone to me. "She wants to talk to you" I took it.

"Hello"

"Hi, Bella"

"Hi, Alice"

"Don't you just love the kitty!" She said through the phone. I think Alice was in one of her hyper moods.

"Yes"

"You should come over and see the rest of them before Jasper does something." "Have Edward bring you up, okay, sorry I got to go, Jasper just went up stairs"

"Bye"

"Bye, Alice" I hung up and gave the phone back to Edward.

"So, do you want to go now?"

"Sure" I realized I was still holding the kitty. I thought it would be best if I left it here.

When we were walking Edward pulled me close to him and kissed me. He pulled back and was staring at the window. I saw Charlie shut the blinds. "Oopps."

We drove to his house, right when we pulled up, Alice opened my door. "Bella" She hugged me "I haven't seen you in forever." "Alice, you saw her this morning" Edward said. "I know but it seems like so long."

She lead me upstairs, to her room. The kittens were in a corner hissing at Jasper, and I saw Jasper approaching them. "JASPER!!" Alice yelled at him. "Sorry, but they were being so annoying."

"What-ever"

"Oh hi, Bella"

"Hi, Jasper" I waved to him

"See aren't they cute!" "Wait………where's the mom?"

"I said they were annoying."

"Uhhh……Jasper, She had 2 other kittens on the way."

"Im sorry, you still have the other 8 kittens."

Me and Alice played with the kittens, then about an hour later Edward took me home and the rest of the day went as usual.
