Hello. Well, since it's the time of Christmas. Here's a Christmas story. I was inspired by Doctor Who's "Music of the Spheres." I hope it's okay.
Christmas in the Secret World
The Torchwood team, Martha, and Rhys followed the Doctor as he led them to his surprise. The Doctor had been busy working with their Pokemon on a Christmas gift for everyone, and today he was going to unveil it.
"How long is this going to take?" Owen complained, holding his coat closer to his body. "I'm freezing my-"
"But at least the snow is pretty," Gwen said, as snowflakes fell on her opened hand.
"Do you have any idea what the Doctor's gift is?" Tosh asked Martha.
"With the Doctor, you can never tell," Martha said with a smile.
"I was hoping it involved mistletoe," Jack said with a mischievous smile.
"No, that's my gift," Ianto said, smiling at Jack, as they held hands.
Finally, the Doctor stopped, and showed the others what they came out for. Each of their Pokemon wore a bow of a different Christmas color, and was decorated with a Christmas item, like snowflakes, bells, pine twigs, and mistletoe. The Doctor then smiled and took out his sonic screwdriver. He stood in front of the Pokemon and began conducting, using his sonic screwdriver as a baton. The Pokemon then sang, and the humans soon recognized the piece the Pokemon were singing.
"Is that Handel's "Messiah?"" Rhys asked. The Doctor nodded, as his smile grew.
"You taught them how to sing Handel's "Messiah?"" Martha asked.
"Yes," the Doctor said, still conducting. "Isn't it wonderful?"
The humans had to agree that this was amazing. Even though the Pokemon didn't sing in human language, the music was still beautiful. The music seemed to make the word brighter, happier, and better.
"Now I've seen everything," Rhys said, but he couldn't help but smile.
"Okay, I have to admit, this is good," Owen said with a tiny smile.
"It's splendid," Gwen said, smiling.
"I love it," Tosh said, with a smile.
"This is truly unique," Ianto said, and smiled.
"Doctor, this is a great Christmas gift," Jack honestly said, smiling. "Only you could have pulled this off."
"Thank you," Martha said to the Doctor, as she smiled.
"Just wait until next year," the Doctor said, and grinned. "I'm going to teach them Beethoven's "Ode to Joy!""
