A poem about how Jack felt (and what he thought) when he heard that Man in Moon spoke to the Guardians, and not him after so many years alone. ROTG belongs to DreamWorks', not me.

He chose me?

He chose me?
I've been chosen to be
a Guardian of childhood?
But why would
Man in Moon not tell me?

Instead, I was brought here
(via sack) and from them I hear
what my fate's been decided to be
while they are crowding me.

He chose me?
Can't the Moon see
that this solution won't out?
That he can't do this, after I'd shout

and beg "Why?"
What did I
do that was wrong?",
And find out that all along

He could have talked to me?
And yet, he still indirectly
sealed my destiny
after so many
years alone?
