Hey everyone! It's time for my second anniversary week Oneshot. As I said in the first, these are all closely based on important things I've had going on over the past year. This one's about my hope to get married someday.

Isabelle ran into the tea shop and dropped her backpack on the ground. She had to hurry. She wanted this conversation to be private, and it was only a matter of time before her younger brothers and cousins got there.

"Mom!" She gasped, "can we talk?"

"Yeah, hold on... Cole? Can you take over running the register?" Nya yelled to her co-worker who was busy snoozing on a chair in the back.

Cole shook awake and got up, "yeah, sure," he yawned.

"Where's everyone else?" Isabelle asked.

Nya picked up a pot of tea and poured cups for her and her daughter, "they went to pick up a shipment."

"Oh," Isabelle said. She and Nya sat down at one of the tables. She picked up her cup and took in the scent of chai- her favourite.

"So what did you want to ask me about?" Nya asked.

"Two guys asked me to homecoming.I don't know what to say," Isabelle blurted, "What do I do mom?"

"Well, I'd suggest starting by thinking about what you like and don't like about each of them, and keep in mind, this is only your freshmen year, you're probably not going to end up marrying either of them, so whoever you end up going with, just try to have fun with."

"Geez, thanks Mom. If I'm not going to marry one of them, why even date? What's the point?" Isabelle spoke sarcastically.

"The point in dating is to figure out the kind of person you like, and who you want to marry. I'm not saying don't date, just be intentional about it. Don't date just because everyone else is and it's cool. Do it because you're a treasure and you want to find someone who will treat you like that for the rest of your life."

"Wow Mom. That's a lot to take in. I don't think I'm ready for all this yet," Isabelle sighed.

Nya held her daughter's hand in hers, "it's okay if you aren't. Don't try to awaken love before it's ready. It'll be so worth it when you get married."

"I think tomorrow I'll tell both of them that I'm not ready to date anyone yet. Maybe I can get a group of friends together to go to homecoming. It'll be fun!" Isabelle chirped.

Nya smiled at Isabelle, "I'm proud of you sweetie. When I was your age, I wasn't able to make these kinds of decisions."

"But I thought you said Dad was the first guy you ever dated!"

"He was, but he wasn't the only. Believe it or not, your uncle Cole and I dated once. It tore Dad and his friendship apart. I really regret that part of my life. But your dad proved to me that he still loved me through all of it. We got back together a couple years later. That was one of the best days in my life."

"I didn't know that. You really dated Uncle Cole once?" Isabelle stifled a laugh. She glanced over at her uncle snoozing at the register.

"Yes. I did," Nya replied.

Both of them burst out laughing. Isabelle pounded her first on the table.

Cole woke up, "What's going on? What? What?" He asked and frustration.

"Nothing," Isabelle snickered. She turned back to her mom, "Thanks for the advice. I still can't believe you dated him though!"

I hope you all enjoyed. This was a lot of fun to write. I headlining that once all the ninja got married and had kids, they all kept working at Steeper Wisdom and stay really close still.

Anywho, thanks all for helping make two years happen!
