The first thing you need to know about living on the streets of any hold capital in Skyrim is that you can find food on every corner. Literally.
Scattered all around the various cities are hundreds of barrels, where the riffraff of the city will store apples and potatoes and cabbages and such to leave for others to find.
Sometimes the food will be rotten, but when it's not?
Well, you just hit a jackpot.
Food can, of course, be eaten, but that's not all it's good for. You can also sell it at a market. For money.
Now, I don't know if you've ever lived on the streets of a hold capital in Skyrim, but money is generally helpful.
Even if you're selling it at a rate of two septims for an apple, it adds up quickly.
I should know— after Brenuin told me about the barrels in Whiterun, it only took me a week and a half to save up enough money for a carriage ride to Riften.
Before you ask, I wasn't originally going there because of the city's crime rate. On the contrary, I was going to see the temple of Mara.
Of course, that's not exactly how it turned out, is it?
Well, now I'm getting ahead of myself. Allow me to start at the beginning.
My name is Ebony Wistflier, and I have a story.
Hey humans! So I haven't been super active on FF in a while, and also I've never been on the elder scrolls section, but I'm glad all of you read this and I hope to see more of you later on! Cool, R&R plz, luv y'all!
