Usually I don't know what Shadow describes Sticks as. So I have him called her 'wild girl'.

"I don't understand why you don't have a flat peach skin on your chest like Sonic's. What has happened to hedgehog evolution during the dinosaur extinction?!" Sticks talking about Shadow's chest fur.
"Nothing happened! So stop wondering!" Shadow yelled.
"Okay okay! Sheesh!" Sticks held for her ears.
"You're more annoying than Sonic, wild girl" Shadow scoffed and crossed his arms.
"I'm not annoying! Sheesh, I wonder how long you've been a loner" Sticks grumbled.
"For a long time. You don't wanna know" Shadow said.
They headed to Tails to see what he is up to. Just the same as usual, Tails was doing his plane like always.
"Hi Tails" Sticks waved to him.
"Hi Sticks, Hi Shadow. What's up?" Tails saw the two.
"Just fine. Anything new?" Shadow asked.
"No nothing yet. But don't touch that device" Tails pointed at the trashed machine.
"What is it? It's just garbage. Wait! It's a shiny thing!" Sticks got too crazy over shiny things like she always does.
"DON'T!" Shadow tried to stop her but the trashed machine suddenly flashes and the two were sent back onto the floor.

An hour later, Shadow woke up but notices something is different, his hands were not his, they were bare and orange. Orange?
"What the?! These are not my hands!" Shadow panicked and feels his weird hairstyle in pigtails, "These aren't mine!" he looks down at himself wearing wild feral clothes.
"NO! I AM STICKS!" *Shadow screamed.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He heard Sticks' voice, which means one thing...
"I GOT CHEST FUR!" *Sticks screamed, "GET IT OFF ME! GET IT OFF ME!" she screamed like crazy which made Tails cover his ears.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" *Shadow growled.
"Well that trashed machine was a body changer device which I have been working on lately. Sort of like when Sonic switched mind with Eggman, but the purple meteor is gone for now. So now I guess I have to repair the body changer device to switch your bodies back" Tails said.
"So that flash made us switch bodies?!" *Shadow gasped.
"Don't worry Shadow. I'll fix it now, but it might take an hour" Tails said.
"I am not gonna be waiting this long being stuck in a wild girl's body!" *Shadow yelled.
"Yo! What's with all the screaming?" Sonic walks inside to see what's going on.
"I'm a hedgehog! I feel so naked!" *Sticks screamed, not really used to being in a male mobian's body.
"Well duh, you got thicker fur" Tails rolled his eyes.
"Oh phew" *Sticks looked at herself.
"And these clothes are made of animal fur" *Shadow said.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! Shadow is in Sticks' body? This is so hilarious!" Sonic laughed hysterically.
"Oh crud" *Shadow gave a grumpy frown.
"This black fur tickles! Are you even showering?!" *Sticks scratches her now black fur.
"Hey, I do shower! Quit playing with my body!" *Shadow glared at her like he's talking to a clone but that's not the case.
"Well I guess you two need to learn each other's skills while you are in one another's body" Sonic said.
"Oh great. I don't have powers in this body" *Shadow sighs, "Except for this stupid boomerang thing" he held it out.
"It's not stupid!" *Sticks snatched her boomerang, "It's my main weapon. And I don't understand why you people wear gloves all the time. Do you ever wash your hands?!"
"We do wash our hands. It's just we don't want to get dirty on our hands" *Shadow said, "And stop getting paranoid in my body! It's really getting annoying"
"Wh-Wh-WHOAAAAAA!" *Sticks wearing Shadow's hover shoes accidently made her run fast and bumps into Amy at the door entrance, "UGH!"
"URGH! SHADOW!" Amy grunted.
"Amy, it's me Sticks, I got swapped with Shadow!" *Sticks explained.
"But how?" Amy asked.
"Long story" *Shadow muttered.
Then they heard mechanical sounds and buzzing sounds coming from outside, they all got out but the problem were gonna start on *Shadow and *Sticks.
"Alright let's see what we got!" *Shadow takes out the boomerang and throws it, but it comes back and hits him in the head, "OW!" he held his head for it hitting him so hard.
*Sticks doesn't know how to use chaos spear so she was chased by many buzz bombers, "AAAAAAAAAAH! HOW DO I DO THE SPEAR THINGY?!" *Sticks screamed.
"Hold your hand out and shout 'chaos spear'!" *Shadow tells her.
"Uhh…..CHAOS SPEAR!" *Sticks held out her hand and out came chaos spears. It hit some of the robots in the air and they exploded.
"WOW!" *Sticks shouted.
"Good shot!" *Shadow said.
"Thanks!" *Sticks thumbs up.
*Shadow then jumped up on one of the buzz bombers to ride on it, "YAAAHOOOO! Come on big boy! Fly like a bird!"
"VZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!" the Buzz bomber buzzed like crazy and flies out of control in the sky. But *Shadow kept his grip steady onto the head of the robot to not let go.
*Sticks was not able to handle using the hover skate shoes, "WHOOOAAAAAAA!" she hoverskates straight towards the eggcrabs and knocked them all down like dominos, "Woooaaahahahahahahaha!" she shouted in joy and began tackle some of the remaining eggcrabs down.
"INCOMING!" *Shadow came down with the buzz bomber in hand.
He jumps of it and it explodes with the eggcrabs. *Sticks looked over and then saw *Shadow standing there.
"How in the world did you do that?!" *Sticks asked.
"I just jumped onto one and held it like a wild horse" *Shadow said.
"Oh okay" *Sticks said and looks at Shadow's hover skate shoes.
"You did not mess up my shoes?" *Shadow asked.
"Uhhh….no" *Sticks gulped nervously, unsure if the shoes are okay.
*Shadow checked and they were not damaged at all, "Nah, they are fine I see" he said.
"And my boomerang?" *Sticks asked for the boomerang that *Shadow had. He handed it over to her and she examines it but found no damage on it, "Good boy. You didn't damage my weapon"

A while later; *Shadow was trying his best to learn how to use the boomerang but no success. Every time he throws it, he's not fast enough to catch it.
"No no no. That's not how it's done. Try to jump a bit when it's coming at you" *Sticks shook her head.
"I did but it's not easy for me to catch things in the air!" *Shadow scoffed and tries again. But when the boomerang comes back, he ducks to avoid getting hit in the head again.
*Sticks managed to catch the boomerang in a hedgehog's body, "Good thing I can catch it in your body"
"Hmph!" *Shadow scoffs.
"Alright Shadow, now you teach me how to control these shoes" *Sticks said.
"Alright then" *Shadow said, "First you simply run like you have roller-skates and then you allow yourself to glide in super-speed" he tells her what to do.
"But how do I stop without crashing into something?" *Sticks asked.
"Like how you usually run, you stop by the heels" *Shadow said.
*Sticks tried to remember what he said and began running like on roller skates, but since she ran on sand she felt a large trail of sand behind, covering most of the group in sand. She even ran on the rocks and through the forest and it creates a shockwave that sends the trees on their sides. She then came back and stops.
"Whoops" *Sticks saw her friends covered in sand, "Sorry"
*Shadow shook the sand of him and goes up to her. The others shook the sand off as well.
"Well, what's next?" *Shadow asked.
"Feral instincts" *Sticks said.
"Nuh uh! I am not a wild animal" *Shadow crossed his arms, "Hmph!"
"You're in Sticks' body, Shads" Nebula said.
"URGH! Fine" *Shadow stomped. He crouches down to all fours and makes himself look feral in the face, "GRRRRRRRRRR!" He snarled and leaps up on the tree and chased a lizard on the tree branch. Sonic shook his head at *Shadow now acting like an animal again.
"I hope he knows how to get down from the tree" Sonic said.
"Oh he will" *Sticks said.
*Shadow tried to grab the lizard but each time it ran away on the branch, "Come here! Whoaaaa!" he jumps at it again but fell down off the branch.
*THUD*
Nebula inhales sharply, "Ouch" she quickly goes up to him, "Shadow, are you all right?"
"I'm fine Nebula" *Shadow said and got up, "But our bodies need to be unharmed" he continued.
"I just can't wait to get back into my own body" *Sticks said, but then sat down like a dog and scratched her ears with her foot in Shadow's body.
*Shadow made a disgusted expression and looks away. *Sticks then stopped scratching and got up.
"Don't do that again" *Shadow said.
"Do what?" *Sticks asked.
"Scratching my body like that" *Shadow said.
"Sorry" *Sticks said. They went to see how Tails is doing with the machine.
"Hi Shadow and Sticks. I am done with the machine, just a minute please" Tails said. He was fixing the last piece on the machine.
"Finally! So that I can get back to my real body" *Shadow said.
"Yes exactly. Be ready. I'm gonna press the button" Tails said, finishing the machine. He then pressed the green button and both *Shadow and *Sticks got hit by a light beam, they collapsed again.
"Ohhh…. man" Shadow groaned, then saw he was in his right body again.
"YESSSS! I am back!" Sticks cheered
"About time. Thanks, Tails" Shadow said.
"No worries Shadow" Tails said. Sticks run up to Tails and hugged him.
"Oh Thank you Thank you Thank you!" Sticks said loudly. Tails chuckled and pushed her off gently.
"No problem" Tails said. Shadow then heads out from the laboratory.
