Always In Your Heart

Remus opened his eyes with a jolt and squinted as they adjusted to the bright room. At least, he thought it was bright, but his eyes had been closed for quite a while really. His eyes slowly adjusted and he stood up, for he had realised that he was lying on the cold hard floor. He looked around the room, it was a bright white with a door at the end, he walked over to the door, and turned the handle, he pushed it open and walked through it and stepped onto the green grass.

Where am I? he wondered, where he had just come from, it was raining and there was a war going on. A thought suddenly occurred to him, and he pushed it to the back of his mind. Remus decided to explore a bit, to figure out where exactly he was.

Remus wondered around for a while before coming across a Quidditch pitch, he went down to it to look at the players, he gasped, realising who they were.

'Hey!' He yelled at them, they looked down at him, before coming down to him and engulfing him in hugs.

'Remus! Why did you die?!' Sirius shouted, his voice muffled by sobs, and the fact that his face was on Remus' shoulder.

'The war,' he replied

Sirius paled, 'Harry?' He asked, mingled fear, and sadness in his voice

'He's not dead, he was finding the Horcruxes from as much as I can gather.'

'He will be okay though right? Right?!' James said quickly

'I hope so,'

'Remus!' A red headed female dashed over to the group and hugged him.

'Lily,' Remus breathed

James led them over to his and Lily's house but before they could go inside Remis heard a soft voice from behind him.

'Remus?' She asked softly. Remus' heart skipped a beat, he slowley turned to face her, and his stomach dropped. He saw her face looking anxioisly up at him, tears slid down his cheeks and he hugged her, and kissed her, and didn't let go.

'Dora, my Dora,' he whispered into her hair. James, Sirius, and lily were watching thks curiously

'Remus?' Sirius asked.

Remus turned around, not letting go of Nymphadora, and looked at Sirius

'Never mind,' Lily said quickly, jabbing Sirius.

'What, about Teddy?' Remus asked, Dora burst into tears,

'Mum's looking after him. He'll be f-fine,' She said in between sobs

Remus stroked her hair soothingly muttering comforting nothings into her ear.

'Who's Teddy?' Sirius asked tactlessly

Remus shot him a death-glare, 'Teddy, is our son Sirius,' he snapped,

'You guys have a son?'

'Yes, now if you don't mind, we have just died, and are worried for him since there is a war going on.'

'Sorry,'

Lily ushered Sirius and James inside before coming over to Remus and Dora, and carefully lead them inside.

'If you like, you could go in the waiting room, and see who else comes?'

Remus nodded, and took Dora's hand, and they went out of the door.

They walked back to the room that they had just come from, and sat down by the wall. They saw lots of people come through including Dora's murdurer Bellatrix. They sat there for hours, waiting for a sign of the young son but he didn't arrive.

'Remus, Tonks, if you wouldn't mind giving me half an hour?' Dumbledore asked and they left. They heard Dumbledore talking to someone, to Harry, and they waited for him to appear, but he didn't. Dumbledore only came back through, ans told them that they could go back.

Remus and Dora looked around the room for any signs of Harry but they didn't find any. They sat back down together, and sat there for hours, watching people appear, and go through the door, some unaware that they were dead.

'Remus, Tonks?' Lily said, they looked around and saw that Lily was standing in the doorway, 'You've been in here for six days, I don't think Teddy's coming,'

They smiled at each other, and followed Lily out of the door, hoping thag Teddy wouldn't come for a long, long time.
