Prologue
Seneca Crane smiled to himself as he finished the designs for this year's arena. They'd never done anything like this before: it would take a resourceful tribute to survive in such a place. The dilapidated old buildings and the mixture of rough terrains made it a harsh environment. At the same time, it would made so familiar yet so alien to the tributes that it would make them long for home, no matter how little they had and how awful their lives were. The more home-sick the tributes, the harder they fought. President Snow would definitely be pleased with this...
