I don't own any of the charecters from charlie Bone, I wish I did, but tis life, right enjoy!OH and I am currenty missing my copy of the wilderness wolf (which is so anoying cause it's my favourite) so I can't find this out but do we ever find out Asa's parents names? if so, please tell me what they are, if not, I'll make some up in the next chapter, for now they're just mr and mrs pike

Intro

Mrs Pike and Mr Pike pulled their son along quickly. Mrs Pike looked at the sky in worry, they had to get out of the town before nightfall. They had been lucky so far, no one had spotted then as they made their way through the darker areas of the town.

'Why do we have to leave, I like it here!' Said Asa loudly

'Sh Asa,' his mother said, a sightly panicky tone in her voice, they were out in the open and they had to be quiet. 'We can't stay because the people here have found out about us.'

'But why don't they like us?' He stared up at his parents, confused. Mrs Pike looked at her husband.

'Because they think we're monsters' he answered harshly.

'Are we?' asked the small boy a scared look in his yellow eyes. Mr and Mrs Pike looked at each other but said nothing, and simply pulled Asa along more quickly. Asa knew when not to ask a question twice, this was one of those times, Butwearen'tmonsters. He thought, monsters lived under beds and in cupboards, didn't people know that?

Of course Asa didn't say any of this, but instead let his parents brag him towards the last of the houses that made up the small town.

They slowed down after they had been running past feilds for a while, Asa yawned hugely

'Mummy, I'm tiered' He complained, she smiled slightly down at her son.

'Alright darling we'll find somewhere to sleep' She looked around and saw a forest not far away, she glanced nervously at the sky again, and at the sun that had reached the horizon.

'There, hurry' she said pulling Asa in the direction of the forest, followed by her husband. They stumbled into the dark safety of the trees. Mrs pike half carried a half asleep Asa over to the bottom of a large tree that had shed a lot of it's leaves, leaving them on the ground, she pushed them into a pile and layed her son on it.

'Good night sweet heart' she whispered to him

'Good night mummy' he muttered. She kissed him on the fore head, and the sun sank out of sight.

A/N well that's my intro, yeh it's short but so what, hope you liked it, any who remember what I said before about Asas parents names GOODBYE!
