"Where could he be? I miss his whining. I miss that personality." I looked outside the window and couldn't see anyone there.

"Germany-san, do you miss him?" And I thought I could see him and more time, but it was Japan. I nodded.

"Without Italy-san, everything's really quiet here." He said that. I agreed with him. Without him, it seemed so quiet here.

"Germany, Germany!" I looked around. I could hear his voice, but I couldn't see him anywhere.

"Germany! Why are you ignoring me?" He's calling me.

"Japan, do you hear Italy's voice?" I asked Japan. He shook his head.

"Germany-san, I know that you miss him so much, but don't try to act like he's around." Japan didn't believe me. I didn't believe myself either. 'Am I hearing things?' I thought.

"G-Germany-san, you should take some rest. You seem tired." Japan may think I was crazy, but I'm not.

"Japan, when will he come back?" I never thought I'd ask that to Japan.

"His brother said that he'll be back in two months and it's been a month so far. So, that means another month."

"It's late at night, you should sleep." I said it to Japan. He nodded and left the room.

I went to my room.

No. I couldn't sleep at all. I was really worried about him.

---

The next day, I didn't even realize that one day had passed. Japan knocked my room.

"Germany-san, it's time for breakfast!"

I opened the door, and he suddenly had the 'it's-a-monster!' face.

"Pardon me for disturbing your sleep." He left.

I went to the bathroom and looked myself at the mirror.

"Ugh, look at me, I'm screwed up!" I took a shower and dressed up.

"G-Germany-san, a-are you okay?" Japan was still scared of me.

"I'm okay, Japan! I couldn't sleep last night, so..."

I explained to Japan what happened.

"I see... you really worry about him, aren't you Germany-san? Well, I miss him too. It seemed the cheerful atmosphere isn't here without him around."

"Yeah, that's why, I want him to go back soon."

---

One month had passed. And it was the time when he will come back.

"Germany! Japan! I miss you!" he ran and hugged me and Japan.

"Italy-san, it's great to see you again!" Japan greeted him.

"Japan! Did you miss me?" Italy asked.

"Well, yeah... We missed you." Japan answered.

"Germany! Germany! Did you miss me?" Italy asked me.

"Well, umm... yeah, I missed you. In fact, I really missed you. And I'm glad to see you again." I couldn't help but to smile to him.

---

The next day, in the early morning, I knocked Italy's room. As usual, he never got up before me. Well, not never, but he rarely got up before me.

"Good Morning Germany!"

"Good Morning."

"Wait me at the table, I'll be right there!" he closed the door. I could hear the sound of the water.

Few minutes later, he arrived at the table.

"Germany! Japan! Look! I bought you some pasta!"

It's been a while since the last time I saw his smile. The last time I had this happy atmosphere in our place. It was such a great day.
