Sakura, Saki, and the ano jewel
Chapter one
Sakura gazed over a book titled The Adventures of Sakura Haruno. She had been cleaning her room for the first time for what seemed for forever and had stopped to look at her old, dusty diary. She wondered when she had stopped writing in it; obviously a while ago she guessed looking at the quality of the paper and the crinkling sound it made when she flipped its pages. Her hand writing was barely legible back then and the ink was fading making it hard to the entries, but she could make out one; although the date was unclear.
Dear Diary,
Today is finally graduation day! I, Sakura Haruno, am now a kanochi. Too bad that stupid Naruto was there, and he's on my team also. He wasn't even supposed to graduate. At least I'm with Sasuke. At lunch I almost snagged a kiss with him, but when he came back from the men's room, he was mad at me. How weird. After that I tried being nice to Naruto and he ran away yelling some nonsense (next time we meet I'll strangle him).

Sakura remembered that. "Who'd have thought that Naruto would pull through like that", she thought. A slight smile formed on her face, and in her eyes, tears. She placed the book in the keep pile after dusting it off. The diary seemed different now, but Sakura could not find the right words to describe it.
Sakura pulled out the next book Human Autonomy. Before she could get any further, there was a knock on the door. "Sakura, one of your friends is here to see you", said a perky, sing-song voice Sakura recognized as her mothers.
"Coming!" she yelled angered because this would mean she would have to finish cleaning up later. She stomped down stairs and faked a smile. (Just in case it was Sasuke waiting on her). She opened the door with high expectations; for a split second all she saw was orange.
"Oh, it's just you Naruto," Sakura said sounding disappointed.
"who'd you think it was, Sasuke," Naruto said emphancizing the word Sasuke to taunt Sakura.
"shut up, that's none of you buiseness, did you just come here to bother me?"
"No, Kakashi-sensei wants you."
"then why didn't you say that in the first place?" Sakura said wiping under her eyes. She wondered if Naruto could tell she had been crying earlier.
