Letting Go of the Past
New Year's Day is approaching, the seconds tick down. The voice that has been in my heart for two decades has asked me to let go and move on to find what I need. I'd always believed she was all I needed even if I could only hold her and see her in my dreams.
Deep down I know she's right. I've hurt women I cared about by holding back the love they deserved. It's time I let go and maybe the next opportunity will find me able to truly love again. It begins with letting go of the past.
