A/N: Thanks to blackandivorykeys for wanting to write a collab with me even when you're writing fifteen right now. I don't know how you put up with me. Oh and thank you for the ideas! This story was supposedly to be humor too. Sadly, they only allowed two genres. Damn.
The prologue sucked when I wrote it first. That is until I sent it to blackandivorykeys. She made it a lot better. Thank her!
Prologue
"Don't play with fire, Edward. Little boys like you just might get burnt," she smirked, eyes showing no emotion. I did not understand how her well she managed to keep her poker face. Her expression showed no guilt, no remorse, and no melancholy.
The smirk did the talking.
With those words escaping her lips, she turned around with a smirk still present, heading towards the exit. Her hips swayed left to right as she abandoned me in the empty hallway, mouth agape.
She walked out the door, not one look back.
And I was determined to change. I was determined to give her a run for her money after what she had done to me in the past.
I was determined to make her crave for more of me.
I would leave my black-framed glasses to burn in the fireplace, dump the hair gel in the trash, and wear the clothes Alice had been bugging me to. I would go to the gym with Emmett instead of burying my head thick in the books and comfortable words I knew by heart.
If you can't beat them, join them.
Today would be the last day the population would ever see of hear of the Edward who followed the rules like a good little boy, the Edward who was tossed around, and the teacher's pet Edward.
The new Edward Cullen would emerge: the one that would break rules. The one that didn't give a damn about what people though, despite the resistance I currently held. There would be a new Edward Cullen determined to pull her into the same trap she set.
"You better watch out, Isabella Swan."
Hopefully, the plan wouldn't backfire…
