Ch. 0 Prolog: Promise of the Unlikely Friendship (Flashback)

A 13 year old Roronoa Zoro, walked though the forest for his target Minch Aciky, a wanted fugitive.

Ahead the sounds of a fight started and ended as fast as lightning. Standing over his target was a 12 year old girl with wavy blond hair and blood red eyes, in her hands was a black and white scythe roughly x2 the size of the girl. With a flash of diamonds the scythe was gone, now the girl was wearing an over sized sweater and her eyes were hazelnut colored.

"Is he your target?" she asked. "Yes." The boy said back, narrowing his eyes. Her eyes widened in response. "Oh! I'm so sorry. I didn't know, but he kinda tried to attack me." She laughed nervously, scratching her head. What the. Zoro thought. "Oh! I got it. Since he's your target you can take the credit. K." she chattered. "Wait what" Zoro stammered, confused.

"What's your name?"

"Zoro."

"I'm Rebecca E. Hunter. Let's make a promise."

"Huh?"

"I'm considered a Guardian and since you're a swordsman, so lets make a promise."

"Sure."

"Alright" Rebecca ran over to the green headed boy. "Lettme see your hand." She smiled sweetly.

Zoro gave her his hand. The moment his hand touched hers the world was en gulfed in light. "watch." She said, amased. Zoro's eyes widened, floating above their hands was a small orb of light expanded and broke into two pieces on flying up to his ear creating the earings he now wears, the other part flying up to her neck making three gold bands circle around her neck.

"There now the promise has been mad." she whispered leaning in closer to him, "thank you Zoro." And was gone.
Zoro found himself in town in an ally way with Mitch bound and gaged beside him. He smiled. Maybe he' d have a friend after all.
